Mould manufacturers · Social media

A core on the grinder tells a product head more than a slogan does.

Social media for a mould maker is the use of LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram to show design work, steel in machining and moulds on try-out to the people who buy them. GullySales works on what to post from the toolroom, who should see it and how a viewer reaches you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For mould manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is a short list of named roles”

The buyers who matter are product heads, sourcing leads and moulder owners. Posts aimed at the general public reach nobody who orders a mould. A follower count says little; whether the right people saw the post is what counts.

  • “The process is the content”

A core in machining, an EDM cutting a rib, a first shot on the try-out press: these are scenes a buyer never sees and cannot get from a brochure. They show competence without a claim. Photograph them as work happens, with the part type in the caption.

  • “Client parts need permission”

A buyer does not want an unreleased product shown. A photograph of a mould with a recognisable part can give away a launch. Ask first, cover or crop the part when in doubt, and describe it by type.

  • “Designers deserve a face”

The people who spot a thin wall before steel is cut are the reason a buyer returns. Showing a design review on screen, with the markups, makes that work visible. Naming an individual needs their consent.

What we do

What we deliver for mould manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Post types from the toolroom

A set of repeating post types: design review markup, machining stage, try-out shot, finished mould beside the part.

Result: The team knows what to photograph on the floor and what each post should say.

  2. Photo permission routine

A step where client permission is checked before a mould or part is posted, recorded in the mould register.

Result: A register column showing which moulds may be shown.

  3. LinkedIn page and profiles

Setup of the company page and guidance for the owner and design lead on their own profiles, naming mould types and sectors.

Result: Profiles that state what you build in the first lines.

  4. Try-out clips

Short clips of a mould opening and a part ejecting, captioned with part type, steel and cavity count.

Result: A clip a product head can watch on a phone with the sound off.

  5. Audience list by role

A list of brands, moulders and studios whose people you want to be seen by, so posts and connection requests go to named roles.

Result: A list of roles, not a count of followers.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform matters for a mould maker?
LinkedIn reaches product and sourcing heads, and YouTube holds the try-out and process clips. Instagram suits consumer product work. Start with LinkedIn and add another where you find your buyers looking.
Is it safe to post a customer's part?
Not without asking. An unreleased product belongs to the customer. Get permission, note it in your register and describe the part by type where the client prefers. Check the order terms with your own adviser.
Who should post, the company or the owner?
Both work. The company page holds the gallery, while the owner or design lead posting under their own name reaches buyers as a person. Keep the same facts on both so a buyer who compares finds one story.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
