Paper manufacturers · WhatsApp marketing

Send the right rate to the right merchant and converter, grade by grade.

WhatsApp marketing for a paper mill means using broadcast lists and business messages to share rates, stock and sample updates with buyers who have agreed to hear from you. GullySales sorts the lists by grade and sets the reply routine.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For paper manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The rate list reaches the contacts you remember”

A mill broadcasts to the saved numbers of a few merchants. A new converter in the region never receives it. A list built by grade and region corrects that.

  • “A buyer who asks for a rate wants an answer and a number”

A rate message works best when it states the grade, the specification, the basis of the price and the contact to confirm. A bare figure invites another phone call.

  • “Consent matters on a broadcast”

A buyer who did not ask for messages will report or block you. Keep a record of who agreed, and check the platform's current rules on business messages before sending.

  • “A chat holds the order history”

Orders get finalised in a chat thread. If the thread stays on a salesman's phone, the mill loses the record. Key facts should reach the register the same day.

What we do

What we deliver for paper manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Grade-wise broadcast lists

Separate lists for kraft, board, writing and tissue buyers, built from the CRM with consent noted.

Result: Each rate message reaches only the buyers of that grade.

  2. A rate message template

A fixed format with grade, specification, basis of price, validity and contact.

Result: Rate messages that look the same each time.

  3. A business profile and catalogue

A WhatsApp Business profile with the mill address, grades and a short catalogue.

Result: A new buyer sees what you make from the first message.

  4. A reply routine

A rule on who answers, how enquiries reach the register and what is said outside working hours.

Result: No rate query goes unanswered.

  5. Sample and dispatch updates

Short messages to the buyer when a sample leaves, a truck is loaded or a reel is delivered.

Result: Buyers know where their paper is without ringing.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these paper manufacturers.

  • Mills that sell jumbo reels to converters and sheets to merchants

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send rates to everyone in the phone?
Only to people who have agreed to receive them. Ask permission in a first chat, record it, and give an easy way to stop. Check the platform's current rules before any bulk sending.
Should the salesman use a personal number?
Use a business number held by the mill, so the chat history stays when a salesman leaves. Personal numbers carry the relationship away with the person.
Does WhatsApp replace the phone call?
No. The call settles the order and the chat records it. The message gets the rate to the buyer, and the call closes it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
