Sensor manufacturers · Manufacturing
Be the sensor an engineer has already tested before the purchase order is raised.
An engineer at a pump maker in Coimbatore needs a pressure sensor for a new model. The search is for the part type; three datasheets get opened, two suppliers get a sample request, and the units are tested on a bench over a fortnight. Whoever sends the sample and answers the question about output signal gets designed in.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Sensor manufacturers make temperature, pressure, proximity, gas and custom sensors that design engineers choose for a product and OEM purchase teams then buy in volume. GullySales prepares searchable datasheet pages, application notes, a sample-request sheet and a distributor kit, and records what happened to every sample sent.
That choice lasts years. Once a sensor is in a drawing, swapping it means a fresh round of tests, so the sale is won at design and collected in volume later. A maker who waits for purchase enquiries has missed the stage where the choice is made.

How buyers decide
How sensor manufacturers are chosen.
The first reader is an engineer, so the datasheet and the application note matter more than the brochure. Range, accuracy, output type, housing and ingress protection get checked first, and a sample request follows. If a drawing, a CAD file or an application engineer is not available, the engineer moves on.
The second reader is the purchase team, who care about minimum order quantity, price breaks, lead time and a second source. Some OEMs buy through distributors in Bengaluru, Pune or Delhi, who stock popular parts, while others buy directly.
For custom sensors, the sale is a development project. The buyer shares a requirement, the maker quotes tooling and a first batch, and the order follows only after the prototype passes.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for sensor manufacturers.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Datasheets are PDFs that Google does not read”
An engineer searching an exact range or output signal cannot find you, even though the product exists.
“Sample requests arrive and then nothing happens”
A sample goes out, nobody asks how the test went, and the engineer has moved on to another supplier.
“Distributors push whichever brand they have in stock”
You do not know which of them sells to OEMs, and none has your application notes.
“Custom enquiries are hard to quote”
The engineer's requirement arrives in a call and an email chain, and the costing is done from memory.
“Buyers compare you with imports on price alone”
You may offer shorter lead times and local support, but nobody has written that down for a purchase manager.
“Exhibition leads are never followed up”
A visiting card from a trade show sits in a drawer until the next show.
What we do
What we do for sensor manufacturers.
Everything included for sensor manufacturers.
Searchable product pages with datasheets
A page for each sensor family with range, accuracy, output and housing in text, not only in a PDF, plus a datasheet link.
Application notes
Short pages on using your sensor in a pump, boiler, EV battery pack or cold room, written from your own engineers' input and edited for plain reading.
A sample request sheet
A form that asks for the application, quantity expected and project stage, with a note to call the engineer after the sample has been tested.
A distributor and OEM list
The distributors you use and the OEMs you serve, with stock, price breaks and a named contact.
A custom enquiry sheet
A short requirement form for non-standard sensors, with questions on range, environment, volume and timeline.
How the result is measured
- Datasheet downloads by sensor family
- Sample requests against trial orders
- Enquiries by source
- Custom enquiries quoted against won
- Active distributors against signed
- Samples sent with a test result recorded
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Every service, written for sensor manufacturers
Each has its own page: what it involves for sensor manufacturers, what you get, and what it is measured on.
- Lead generationFind the engineers choosing a sensor while the drawing is still open.
- SEOPut the range, output and housing an engineer types into search on your own page.
- Social media marketingPost for the engineers and buyers who follow components, not for general reach.
- Content marketingWrite the application notes an engineer would otherwise phone your team to ask for.
- Buyer personasWrite down who tests the sensor, who buys it and who stocks it.
- CRMKeep one record from first sample to repeat volume order, with a name against each step.
- Follow-up systemsAsk every engineer how the bench test went, and write down what they said.
- WhatsApp marketingAnswer the engineer who sends a photo of a failed sensor and asks for a replacement.
- Digital marketingGive each channel one job: search finds you, samples prove you, distributors stock you.
- WebsitesLet an engineer find the datasheet, the spec and the sample form in one visit.

Priority campaigns
Campaigns for what sensor manufacturers most want to sell.
Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.
Design engineer search campaign
Search ads and pages for specific sensor types and ranges, sending the engineer to the datasheet and sample request.
OEM sample follow-up
Each sample request gets a call asking about the test, the name of a technical contact and a prepared quote for a first batch.
Distributor activation
A kit with stock list, price breaks and application notes for distributors in electronics hubs.
Trade show follow-up
After each exhibition, every visitor is sorted by what they looked at and contacted about that product.
EV and automotive supplier outreach
Contact with sourcing and engineering teams at component makers working on EV and vehicle platforms, with a note on your quality documents.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of sensor manufacturers, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
Design and R&D engineers
Engineers at pump, HVAC, instrument and vehicle makers who pick a part while the product is on the drawing board. They find you through exact-specification search, datasheet pages and application notes.
OEM purchase and sourcing teams
Buyers who ask for minimum order quantity, price breaks and a second source. A one-page supply note answers all three before the meeting.
Electronics distributors
Stockists in the Bengaluru, Pune and Delhi component markets who supply small OEMs. The ones worth a visit are those whose counters already serve pump, HVAC or instrument makers.
System integrators and panel builders
Firms that fit standard sensors into automation projects and need the same part again and again.
Research and academic labs
Institute and company R&D labs that order single pieces for prototypes. A small-quantity page and an order route suit them.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for sensor manufacturers
- 1
Read the product line
Your sensor families, the buyer of each, and how the last ten orders began.
- 2
Make the parts findable
Datasheets and ranges go into pages that search engines and engineers can read.
- 3
Log the samples
Every sample gets a record of who received it, for what application, and what they said after the test.
- 4
Equip the distributors
Each distributor gets a kit and a list of the OEMs near them.
- 5
Trace orders to source
Enquiries, samples, trial orders and volume orders are matched back to where they began.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
SB Engineering
- Situation
- Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
- What we did
- The site redesigned for mobile
- Search work on the buyer's terms
- Content that shows the work
- Social channels managed
- Result
- Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
- High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
- Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.
Burhani Hydroline
- Situation
- The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
- What we did
- Research before design
- Wireframes and prototypes
- The full product catalogue
- An online checkout
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.
