Specialty chemical manufacturers · Social media

Use LinkedIn and WhatsApp to put technical notes in front of the people who approve trials.

Social media marketing for a specialty chemical maker is not about reach. It is a way to put application notes, plant visits and trade show moments in front of chemists, R&D heads and consultants who might one day ask for a sample. GullySales works on a small number of posts that your technical team can stand behind.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For specialty chemical manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is a small set of named people”

Your realistic buyers are the process chemists, R&D heads and consultants in a handful of industry clusters. A post is judged by whether the right person sees it, not by how many strangers do. Follower counts are a poor guide in this trade.

  • “A technical note beats a promotional image”

A short post explaining a processing problem and what changes when the dosage or the pH is adjusted gets read by a chemist. A glossy product shot gets scrolled past. The note must come from your own technical head to carry weight.

  • “Plant and lab photographs build quiet trust”

A buyer who has never met you wants to see a real laboratory, a tested lot and a labelled drum. Genuine photographs of your own site tell them more than stock images of molecules and beakers.

  • “Claims about customers need permission”

A customer's plant trial is theirs to talk about. Naming a buyer, or showing their product, needs their agreement in writing. Posts should describe the process problem, not identify the factory, unless you have asked.

What we do

What we deliver for specialty chemical manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Platform choice for your buyers

A short note on where your technical buyers spend time, with LinkedIn for company and consultant reach and WhatsApp for the trade circle, and which accounts to keep.

Result: You run two or three accounts you can keep up, not six.

  2. Technical post templates

A few repeatable formats for your chemist to fill in: a problem and remedy, a lot test, a trade show visit.

Result: Your technical head can write a post in a few lines without a designer.

  3. Photograph and caption guide

A guide to taking usable pictures of the lab, the plant and the packing, with captions that name the process.

Result: Posts carry real pictures of your own work.

  4. Customer permission note

A one-page note for asking a buyer whether a trial can be described, and in what words.

Result: You post about customer work only with a written yes.

  5. Post-to-enquiry tracking

A way to note which posts led to a message, a profile visit or a sample request.

Result: You can see which kind of note a technical buyer responds to.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is LinkedIn enough for a chemical company?
For finding chemists, consultants and importers it is the main place, because buyers list their employer and role. Add WhatsApp for trade groups and existing customers. Check each platform's current rules before running anything paid.
Who should write the posts?
Your technical head or a senior chemist, with someone to tidy the wording. A post that a chemist wrote reads differently from one a marketer wrote, and technical buyers notice the difference.
Should we post prices?
Not on a public page. Prices change with grade, volume and terms, and a posted number invites price-checking. Offer a data sheet and a call, and quote against a stated application.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
