Aerospace and defence component manufacturers · CRM

Know where every buyer, sample and approval stands without asking the plant head.

A CRM for an aerospace or defence component maker is one record of each buyer, each quotation and each approval step, so that long buying cycles are not lost in inboxes. GullySales sets up the fields, the stages and the habit of updating them, and links the record to your quotes and sample dispatches.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For aerospace and defence component manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The approval status lives in one person's head”

The plant head knows which buyer is at audit stage and which one is waiting for a sample report. When he is travelling, nobody else does.

  • “Quotes go out and no one remembers what was quoted”

A repeat enquiry arrives for a part quoted a year ago. The price, the assumptions and the drawing revision are in an old email.

  • “Contacts leave their company and so does the relationship”

A buyer moves to another integrator. Without a record of the relationship, you lose both the new company and the old one.

What we do

What we deliver for aerospace and defence component manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Buyer and contact records

Company, plant, role of each contact, which parts they buy and who on your side handles them.

Result: A new salesperson can pick up an account without a handover meeting.

  2. Approval stages for each buyer

Stages such as first contact, drawing received, quote sent, sample sent, audit, approved and first order, each with a date and a next step.

Result: You see where each buyer is stuck.

  3. A quotation log

Part, drawing revision, quantity, price basis, validity and reason for win or loss, for every quote.

Result: A repeat enquiry is answered from the record, not memory.

  4. Reminder and ownership rules

A named owner and a next action date on each open buyer, with a short list of overdue items each day.

Result: Nothing waits because nobody was assigned.

  5. A plain data check

A pass over the existing contacts to merge duplicates and mark buyers who have moved on.

Result: You start with a record you can trust.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to record, and when

What each enquiry and buyer record should hold for an aerospace or defence supplier.

The buyer's company, plant and role
Write the plant location and the role, such as sourcing, design or quality. Three people in one company want three different answers from you.
The part, drawing number and revision
Record the revision on the day the drawing arrives. A quote against the wrong revision is a loss waiting to happen.
Quantity, delivery need and decision date
Write what the buyer said, even if it is a guess. Compare it later with what they ordered.
Approval stage and next step
Use your own stage names. Each stage should have a date and a person, so an overdue audit shows up on its own.
Reason for a win or a loss
Choose from a short list: price, lead time, capacity, approval, drawing issue, buyer went elsewhere. Ask the buyer if you can, and log what they said.
Do you need software yet?
If you track a few dozen buyers, a well-kept sheet with locked columns is enough. Move to a CRM when two people update it or when quotes start to be missed.

Who it is for

This is written for these aerospace and defence component manufacturers.

  • Machining shops for airframe and engine parts
  • Sheet metal and fabrication units
  • Casting and forging suppliers
  • Special process houses for heat treatment, plating and coating
  • Cable harness and electronics assembly units
  • Fastener and precision turned parts makers
  • Tooling, jigs and fixture makers
  • Defence sub-assembly vendors supplying public sector units

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the crm work runs

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Spreadsheet or a CRM for our shop?
A sheet works while one person keeps it and the buyer list is short. Once sales, quality and the owner all need the same view, a CRM with stages and reminders is safer.
Our salespeople will not update it. What now?
Make the record the only source for the owner's review, so what is not logged is not discussed. Keep the fields few. A salesperson who must fill fifteen boxes will fill none.
Can WhatsApp chats with buyers be part of the record?
Yes, by noting the key points and decisions in the buyer record. Do not rely on chat history, which is lost with a phone. Check that the buyer is comfortable with chat for anything about a drawing.
Who owns the data if we change the system?
You do. The export of buyers, quotes and notes should be available in a plain format at any time, and the account should be in your company's name.
Can aerospace and defence components be marketed at all?
Yes. Most of the work is making your capability and approvals visible to sourcing and quality teams, and keeping track of buyers through approval. Rules on what you may publish depend on your customers and your programme, so check with your own compliance lead.
Do you need to know aerospace to do this?
We learn your processes, approvals and buyers from your brief and our first conversation and write from that. Your quality head reviews the technical words before anything goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
