Aerospace and defence component manufacturers · Pay per click advertising

Pay only to be seen by the buyers who have a drawing and a need.

Google Ads for an aerospace or defence component maker means bidding on a small number of process and part searches and blocking the many that bring students, hobbyists and job seekers. GullySales sets up the search campaign, the landing page and the enquiry count, and tells you where ads are the wrong tool.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For aerospace and defence component manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Broad words bring the wrong crowd”

Aerospace and defence draw students, model makers and recruiters. Spend goes on clicks that will never send a drawing.

  • “The buyer is a handful of named companies”

If your real buyers are a few integrators and public sector units, a call or an introduction does more than a paid click. Ads suit the buyers you have not met.

  • “A click lands on the home page”

A sourcing engineer who wants machining of one alloy sees a company profile. They leave before they find your capability list.

What we do

What we deliver for aerospace and defence component manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A short list of searches to bid on

Process-plus-material searches such as titanium machining or aluminium forging, grouped by capability, with the broad words kept off.

Result: Spend sits on searches that look like a real part need.

  2. A negative word list

Words for jobs, courses, hobby models, drones for sale, second-hand and free drawings blocked from the start and reviewed against the search report.

Result: Clicks from people who will never quote drop out.

  3. A landing page for each capability group

A page that opens on the process, the alloys and the inspection, with a form that asks for the drawing and the quantity.

Result: A buyer arrives on the page that matches the search.

  4. Enquiry counting by type

Quote requests with a drawing, calls from a buyer and general contacts recorded separately, so one real RFQ is not drowned by ten idle clicks.

Result: You know what each paid enquiry cost in your own accounts.

  5. An honest note on where ads stop

A written view of the part families where an ad is the wrong tool, such as work that goes only through approved vendor lists.

Result: You do not pay for visibility that cannot turn into an order.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

What to bid on, what to block, and what counts as an enquiry for a component maker.

Process plus material, such as titanium machining or Inconel fabrication
Bid. The searcher knows what they want. Send the click to the page for that process, with the alloy names and the machines in the first screen.
Part name plus build to print
Bid, with care. A buyer who types a bracket or housing and build to print is shopping for a supplier. Keep the match narrow so a general part search does not pull in hobbyists.
Your company name and your owner's name
Bid on it. A buyer given your name by a colleague should find you first, not a similarly named shop or a directory.
Aerospace jobs, internship, course, training, drone kit
Block all of these as negative words from the first day. They are the largest share of clicks wasted in this trade.
Where the click lands
A capability page with the drawing form. Do not send the click to the home page, a tender notice or a career page.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a quote request that carries a drawing or a part description and a quantity. Record it with the search and the page that brought it, and mark the ones that were duplicates or out of scope.

Who it is for

This is written for these aerospace and defence component manufacturers.

  • Machining shops for airframe and engine parts
  • Sheet metal and fabrication units
  • Casting and forging suppliers
  • Special process houses for heat treatment, plating and coating
  • Cable harness and electronics assembly units
  • Fastener and precision turned parts makers
  • Tooling, jigs and fixture makers
  • Defence sub-assembly vendors supplying public sector units

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on competitor names?
Seldom worth it. Platforms have their own rules on this and it can annoy a buyer who knows both of you. Better to bid on the process and make your page more specific than theirs.
Can we run ads for defence work at all?
Ads about the process and the part type are ordinary commerce, but anything naming a programme or customer should be cleared with your own compliance lead. Check the platform's current advertising rules too.
Do we need call-only ads?
Seldom. Buyers in this trade send a drawing, they do not phone to describe one. A phone number on the page for the plant head is useful, a call ad is not.
How do we know a click was a real buyer?
Ask each enquiry where they found you and match it against the ad report. A form that asks for the drawing and quantity filters out most idle clicks without any trick.
Can aerospace and defence components be marketed at all?
Yes. Most of the work is making your capability and approvals visible to sourcing and quality teams, and keeping track of buyers through approval. Rules on what you may publish depend on your customers and your programme, so check with your own compliance lead.
Do you need to know aerospace to do this?
We learn your processes, approvals and buyers from your brief and our first conversation and write from that. Your quality head reviews the technical words before anything goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
