Auto parts manufacturers · Sales management
Manage dealer and export accounts against reorder numbers, not visit counts.
Sales management for an auto parts manufacturer means running the dealer and export sales team against a record of enquiries, quotes sent and reorders by account. It replaces counting visits or calls made. GullySales sets up this record and keeps it current as orders come in.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales management means
Sales management is the ongoing work of reviewing a sales team's pipeline, calls and targets, and stepping in on deals that are stuck. GullySales sets the review rhythm and the reports a sales manager needs to run this without relying on gut feel.

For auto parts manufacturers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Reorder rate matters more than new account count”
A distributor who reorders every quarter is worth more than three new accounts that place one trial order and disappear.
“Export accounts need a longer review cycle”
An export buyer's decision can take months, so managing that pipeline on a weekly target misreads normal, slower progress.
“Quote turnaround is a manageable number”
Tracking how long a quote takes to reach a distributor shows exactly where the sales team is losing time.
What we do
What we deliver for auto parts manufacturers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Dealer and export account record in one CRM
Every dealer and export account recorded with enquiry, quote and reorder history in one system, replacing scattered spreadsheets.
Result: Any team member can see an account's full history without asking around.
Quote turnaround tracking by account
The time between an enquiry and a quote sent tracked per account and per team member.
Result: You can see exactly where a quote is slowed down.
Reorder rate view by dealer
A simple view showing which dealers reorder regularly and which have gone quiet, built from your order records.
Result: A lapsed dealer is noticed before the account is lost entirely.
Export pipeline reviewed on its own timeline
Export accounts tracked separately with longer review intervals that match how long an export decision actually takes.
Result: A slow-moving export enquiry is not misjudged as a lost one.
Account report against the baseline
A report of quotes sent, turnaround time and reorders by account, checked against the baseline set at the start.
Result: The sales manager sees the same numbers as the report, not a separate estimate.
How the result is measured
- Target achievement
- Pipeline coverage
- Stuck deals resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What the sales manager reviews
Read these six things in the dealer and export record before you judge the sales team.
Pull them from the IndiaMART lead manager, the quotation register and the sales ledger, not from what the reps say in the meeting.
- Enquiries logged by part number
- Check that every IndiaMART, trade fair and distributor enquiry is logged with the OEM or part number asked for. An enquiry noted only as brake parts cannot be quoted or chased, so send it back to the rep.
- Quotes still waiting to go out
- Open the quotation register and list every enquiry with no quote sent. Ask who owns each one and what is holding it, often a costing from the plant or a drawing check.
- Trial orders that never became a stock line
- Compare first orders in the Tally ledger with the dealer's later invoices. A distributor who took one trial lot and nothing after needs a call about fitment, price or a rival's scheme.
- Dealers who have stopped reordering
- Sort dealers by date of last invoice. When a regular counter has gone quiet for longer than its usual gap, ask the territory rep to visit and note the reason in the record.
- Export buyers and sample status
- Keep export buyers on their own list with the sample, PPAP or price list status. Judge them on whether the next step moved, not on whether an order arrived this period.
- Reasons written against lost quotes
- Read the reason recorded for every lost quote. When the column says price every time, ask the rep which competitor won and at what landed rate, since a vague reason teaches nothing.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the sales management work runs
- 1
Assess current management practice
We look at what cadence, if any, currently exists and where it breaks down.
- 2
Set the rhythm
The touchpoints are agreed and scheduled in writing before the first review.
- 3
Run or coach the cadence
We either run the reviews and one-on-ones directly, or coach your manager to run them.
- 4
Address performance directly
Issues are raised as they appear, not left until a review period.
- 5
Report to the owner
A summary keeps ownership informed without needing to sit in every review.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
