Auto parts manufacturers · WhatsApp marketing

Let dealers reorder stock with a photo and a message, not a phone call.

WhatsApp marketing for an auto parts manufacturer is using WhatsApp for the catalogue, stock questions and reorders that dealers already send there. GullySales sets up the business account, the part catalogue and a reply routine. Every order request then has a written record and a named person answering it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For auto parts manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A photo of the part is often the whole enquiry”

A workshop sends a picture of a worn part and asks for the matching number. The maker who replies first with the right number usually gets the order.

  • “Broadcast lists suit price and catalogue updates”

A price revision or new part launch reaches dealers in the chat they already read. A broadcast only arrives if the dealer has saved your number, so that ask belongs on every invoice.

  • “Order confirmations reduce disputes at delivery”

A written confirmation of quantity and price avoids the back and forth a phone order can cause later.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business catalogue set up

Your part catalogue loaded into WhatsApp Business with categories and quick-reply templates for common stock questions.

Result: A dealer can browse and ask without leaving the chat.

  2. Broadcast list for price and catalogue updates

A segmented broadcast list of existing dealers used only for price revisions and new part launches, not general messages.

Result: A dealer hears about a change directly, without checking email.

  3. Order confirmation template

A standard written confirmation of quantity, price and delivery sent for every WhatsApp order, kept as a record.

Result: A dispute about what was ordered has a written answer to point to.

  4. Photo-based enquiry handling routine

A process for replying quickly and accurately when a workshop sends a photo of a worn part instead of a number.

Result: A photo enquiry gets matched to the right part without delay.

  5. WhatsApp enquiry report against the baseline

Enquiries and orders handled through WhatsApp counted and checked against the baseline set at the start.

Result: You know how much of your order volume now comes through WhatsApp.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

Settle these before a dealer is told to reorder by WhatsApp.

Dealer opt-in at onboarding
Add a line to the dealer form or distributor agreement asking permission to send price lists and stock news on WhatsApp, and keep the signed copy. A number copied from a visiting card is not an opt-in.
A company number held by the sales desk
Run the Business app on a company SIM kept with the sales-desk head, not a salesman's phone. When an executive leaves, the dealer chats and part photographs should stay with you.
Part numbers behind every catalogue item
Fill the catalogue with your own and OEM cross-reference part numbers, vehicle fitment and pack size, not only names. A dealer who sends a photo must be able to match it to a listed item.
Which messages need a template
A reply inside a dealer's recent chat is one thing, a price-list update you start yourself is another and may need an approved template. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing first.
Order confirmation outside the chat
Treat a chat reorder as a request until it has an order number in your system. Reply with that number, the part, quantity and rate so a delivery dispute has a written answer.
Lists split by region and vehicle segment
Keep two-wheeler, commercial vehicle and passenger car dealers on separate lists, and let a dealer leave one list without losing the sales rep. Relevance keeps the number unblocked.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is the free WhatsApp Business app enough, or do we need the API?
The free app is enough for most parts makers with a few hundred dealers. It gives you a catalogue, quick replies and labels for each order stage. The paid API makes sense once several people need to answer the same number or you want order updates sent from your ERP.
Do dealers actually prefer this over calling?
Many do for repeat orders. A counter owner can send a photo and a quantity between customers, which a phone call does not allow. The written thread also settles later arguments about which part and how many.
Can one broadcast carry the price list for all dealer tiers?
Not if tiers pay different rates. Keep a list per tier so no dealer sees another's rate, and check how WhatsApp currently delivers broadcasts, since lists generally reach only people who saved your number.
A dealer sends a photo of a part we do not make. What should we reply?
Say plainly it is outside your range and point to the nearest listed part if there is one. Log the request with the vehicle and part name. Repeated asks for the same item are a sign the range has a gap.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing quote turnaround and catalogue structure shows within weeks. Ranking for part number searches and building export enquiries takes months.
Do we need to advertise, or is a marketplace listing enough?
A listing brings enquiries, but a proper catalogue site and a fast reply routine are needed to convert and keep the account.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
