Auto parts manufacturers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the part number and the vehicle model, not just your company name.

SEO for an auto parts manufacturer is being found for the part number, OE number and vehicle model a buyer types, not just your name. GullySales builds a page for each priority part and fixes the technical faults that keep a catalogue site out of Google.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For auto parts manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A page per part number, not one category page”

A single page listing forty part numbers rarely ranks for any one of them. A page per priority part, with its OE number and fitment, gives each search somewhere to land.

  • “Compatibility terms belong in the page, not just a PDF”

A mechanic types the vehicle and the part, such as "clutch plate Tata Ace". A web page that states the models a part fits matches that search far better than page 30 of a PDF.

  • “Export-market SEO needs the certification named”

Buyers abroad often search for a certification alongside the part, and the page needs to state it plainly, not imply it.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Dedicated page per priority part number

A page built for each high-enquiry part number and its vehicle fit, replacing a single page listing many parts together.

Result: A search for that exact part number finds your page directly.

  2. Technical fixes for catalogue visibility

Site speed, indexing and structure issues on the catalogue fixed, so Google can crawl each part page and list it on its own.

Result: Part pages that Google had skipped get a fair chance to appear in results.

  3. Compatibility content moved from PDF to page

Vehicle fitment tables rewritten as web pages a buyer can land on, instead of a PDF they must download and scroll.

Result: A buyer finds the compatibility answer directly in search results.

  4. Export-market pages naming certification

Pages for your export-relevant part categories stating the certification an overseas buyer searches for, not just implying it.

Result: An export buyer's certification search leads to your own page.

  5. Ranking and enquiry report against the baseline

A report of which part pages rank and which bring enquiries, checked against the baseline set at the start.

Result: You know which part category to write more content for next.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What an OEM buyer or distributor types before shortlisting a supplier, and the page that answers it.

brake shoe manufacturer for commercial vehicles
A product-family page. State the vehicle classes covered, the friction material, the tests you run and the part numbers listed. Add the minimum order and how a sample is requested.
OE number cross reference wheel bearing
A part-number page. Give the OE and aftermarket numbers, dimensions, material and packing. A buyer holding an old part types the number, so the number must be in the heading and the text.
IATF 16949 certified auto component supplier
A certification page. Show the certificate scope as printed, the issuing body and the plants it covers. State only what the certificate states, and say where an auditor can verify it.
two-wheeler chain sprocket kit manufacturer
A two-wheeler page by model family. List the models each kit fits, the material and heat treatment, and the brand under which it is packed. Mention private labelling if you offer it.
auto parts exporter India to Africa
An export page. Name the countries you ship to, the labelling and packing used, payment terms you accept, and the documents you supply. State where your export office can be reached.
aftermarket spare parts distributor wanted
A distributor page. Say which territories are open, what a distributor must stock and show, and how to apply. Spell out what happens to enquiries from a territory already assigned.

Who it is for

This is written for these auto parts manufacturers.

  • Component manufacturers supplying OEMs
  • Aftermarket spare parts manufacturers
  • Export-focused parts manufacturers
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 component suppliers
  • Two-wheeler parts manufacturers
  • Commercial vehicle parts manufacturers
  • Casting and forging units supplying parts
  • Manufacturers with an in-house aftermarket brand

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your catalogue has no part numbers, vehicle fitment or drawings, so there is nothing for a page to say that a buyer searches for.
  • You sell only to a few OEMs who already have your number, so searching buyers would add very little.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We have 2,000 part numbers. Do we need 2,000 pages?
Not at first. Start with the parts that already bring enquiries or carry the best margin, often a few dozen. Each gets a full page with fitment and the OE number, and the rest stay in a searchable catalogue until the first set proves itself.
Should we prioritise domestic or export SEO first?
Usually whichever market has fewer makers competing for your part range. Domestic aftermarket searches for common parts are crowded with distributors and marketplaces. An export page naming the part and your IATF 16949 certificate often faces less competition, so we check both before choosing.
Should the aftermarket brand have its own website?
Often yes, if the aftermarket brand sells to a different buyer than your OEM supply. Dealers and garages search by brand and model. OEM buyers look for process and approvals. One site can serve both only if the two are clearly separated.
Can part pages show other brands' part numbers?
Cross-reference numbers help buyers searching with an old part in hand, and they are widely listed. Present them as references for fitment, not as your own brand. Get advice on trademark use if you name another maker prominently.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
