Medical device manufacturers · Google Business Profile

Let a hospital team find the office they would visit, with the hours it is open.

A Google Business Profile is for a location a customer can visit, such as a sales office or service centre. For a medical device manufacturer that means listing the office a hospital, distributor or auditor can walk into, with its hours, and being clear what the profile does not cover. GullySales checks eligibility first, then sets up what qualifies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What Google Business Profile means

A Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows your address, hours, photos and reviews when someone searches for your business or a nearby competitor on Google and Maps. GullySales sets it up correctly, keeps it updated and posts to it regularly so it works as a steady source of calls and direction requests.

For medical device manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Check the address qualifies before anything else”

Google lists a business that has a location customers can visit, or one that travels to customers. A plant that receives no visitors does not fit, and a profile on an address that does not qualify can be suspended.

  • “Photographs of the visitor-facing space support due diligence”

Real photographs of the reception, the display area or the service centre reassure a buyer running checks before a large order or a tender submission.

  • “Category accuracy avoids irrelevant enquiries”

A precise category for your specific device type filters out unrelated searches and brings in enquiries closer to your actual product line.

What we do

What we deliver for medical device manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An eligibility check on your address

A review of which of your locations Google would accept: a sales office, a service centre or a showroom that receives visitors in stated hours, as against a plant that receives no visitors.

Result: You list only what qualifies, and nothing that risks a suspension.

  2. Complete profile for the visitor-facing location

Full set-up of your Google Business Profile with the correct category, the address that qualifies and current photographs.

Result: A buyer or auditor can confirm the office exists and when it is open.

  3. Photographs of the areas visitors see

Real photographs of the reception, display area or service centre, rather than of areas customers do not enter.

Result: Due diligence finds visible proof instead of an empty listing.

  4. Category and attribute accuracy check

A review confirming your listed category matches your exact device type, not a broad medical equipment label.

Result: The profile stops attracting enquiries for devices you do not make.

  5. Update routine for address and certification changes

A step for updating the profile whenever your address, certifications or primary contact changes.

Result: The profile never shows an outdated certification or contact.

How the result is measured

  • Profile views
  • Calls from the listing
  • Direction requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the profile needs

What a device maker's profile needs to represent a visitable office honestly, and what it should leave off.

The office, not the plant
List the sales office, service centre or showroom where hospital buyers, distributors and auditors are received. If the plant takes no visitors, leave it off the profile.
Category from the device type
Choose the category closest to what you make, from Google's current list, rather than a broad medical equipment label that brings enquiries for devices you do not make.
The registered company name
Use the name on your registration and signboard. Product names and keywords in the business name are often refused. Put device families in the description.
Only what a visitor can see
Photograph the reception, demo room or service centre. Clean rooms and production areas appear only if visitors enter them. Do not post patient-use pictures.
Claims that match the paperwork
If a certification or licence is mentioned, it must match the current certificate. Rules on describing medical devices differ and change, so check with your own regulatory adviser.
A service contact distributors can use
State the office's actual hours and who answers about installation, service or complaints. Hospital teams searching after a breakdown want a person, not a catalogue.

Who it is for

This is written for these medical device manufacturers.

  • Diagnostic equipment manufacturers
  • Surgical instrument manufacturers
  • Hospital furniture and equipment makers
  • Disposable and consumable device manufacturers
  • Implant and orthopaedic device makers
  • Home healthcare device manufacturers
  • In-vitro diagnostic kit manufacturers
  • Export-focused medical device units

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your address is a factory or a registered office that no visitor enters, and a profile for it would send callers to a gate.
  • Your service centres are shared offices without a staffed desk, which the platform may not accept as a listing.
  • The address, name and phone differ across your licence, site and invoices, and they need to agree first.

How it works

How the google business profile work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Find every profile that exists

We search your name, old names, phone numbers and addresses for profiles you own, ones someone else created and duplicates. A record notes which Google account holds each.

  2. 2

    Settle ownership and verification

If you cannot log in, we start the ownership request. You or a senior person at the premises does the verification. Google may ask for a phone code, a live video call or a recording of the signboard and who manages the place.

  3. 3

Match the profile to the signboard

Name, address, pin, phone, hours and business types are compared with what a customer sees at the door. Wrong details are corrected on the profile, and a wrong signboard is raised with you.

  4. 4

    Fill, reply and watch

Photos and services come from material each branch sends. Reviews get drafted replies, and a duplicate or a policy notice is dealt with when it appears.

  5. 5

Read the profile against the baseline

Calls, direction requests and website clicks are set beside the baseline recorded before work started. A branch that falls behind is checked first for a changed detail or a lost verification.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does this matter if we sell only through distributors?
It can, if you have an office or service centre that distributors and hospitals visit. If the only location is a plant that receives no visitors, a profile is not the right tool, and your website and registered details do that job.
Can our factory have a profile?
Only if customers can visit it or you travel to them, and someone is there in the hours you state. A virtual office or an address with no one there breaks Google's rules, and the profile can be suspended. Rules differ and change, so check Google's current guidelines.
How often should this be updated?
Whenever your address, certifications or primary contact details change.
We have service centres in four cities. Does each get a profile?
Each location with staff present in stated hours that customers can visit may have its own profile, with its own address, hours and phone. A city with only a stockist or a storeroom does not qualify. Check Google's current guidelines for multiple locations before you apply.
Our profile was suspended for an address problem. What now?
Read the notice, then fix whatever it names: usually an address with nobody present, a virtual office or a shared one. File the reinstatement request with proof such as the signboard and registration. Do not open a duplicate. Check Google's current process.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
