Mining and quarrying companies · Lead generation

Know where each enquiry for a load came from, and answer the ones that carry a site.

Lead generation for a quarry or mine means collecting the enquiries that come from calls, IndiaMART, contractor referrals, tenders and the website, and noting what each one wants. A good lead names a material, a site and a quantity. GullySales sets up the sources and the record so none of them waits unanswered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For mining and quarrying companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Enquiries arrive on the personal phones of managers”

The supervisor takes a call at the weighbridge and the office never hears of it. An enquiry that lives on one phone is gone when the person is on leave.

  • “Trade portal enquiries are answered once and dropped”

An IndiaMART message gets one reply and no follow-up. The buyer who asked about 40 mm jelly has already received three other quotes.

  • “Regular contractors are never asked for the next job”

A builder who took twelve loads for a slab has no reason to call again unless somebody asks about the next pour.

What we do

What we deliver for mining and quarrying companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry sources list

A short list of the sources real for you, such as calls, walk-ins, IndiaMART, contractor referrals, tenders and the website, each with a tag.

Result: You see which source brings material buyers.

  2. Standard enquiry questions

The five things to ask: material and grade, quantity, site and delivery date, who pays and who receives.

Result: Every caller gives the same facts, so quotes can be compared.

  3. Reply routine for the office

A rule for who answers, on which channel, and what is sent first, such as a grade sheet and a loading-point pin on WhatsApp.

Result: A buyer gets an answer while he is still deciding.

  4. Contractor list with next-job dates

A list of active builders and road contractors with the sites they are working on and when the next pour is due.

Result: You call before a rival does.

  5. Lost-enquiry reasons

A note, for each enquiry that did not become an order, of why: distance, rate, grade, another source.

Result: You see what to change, not just how many were lost.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The sources a quarry actually gets enquiries from, what to record on each and how to reply.

Phone calls from contractors and site engineers
Write down the site, the material, the quantity and the date. The caller is often on a site and will not call twice. Reply with a WhatsApp message to confirm what you heard.
IndiaMART and other trade portal messages
Log the portal name and the buyer's company. Reply with a grade sheet and the loading point. Follow up by phone, since portal buyers send the same enquiry to many.
Walk-ins and drivers at the gate
Keep a register at the weighbridge for who asked about what. A driver who asks for a price for his owner is a lead. Pass the number to the office the same day.
Referrals from engineers, architects and RMC plant staff
Note who sent the buyer. These people decide the material for a site. Thank them with a call and a quick response, not a gift that creates a conflict.
Tender and bid notices
Record the tendering body and the item. Check the portal's current rules before applying. Keep the documents the notice asks for ready in one folder.
Website and call button enquiries
Use a form that asks for material, quantity and site. Read each one on the day it arrives, since a short form is often filled in by a buyer who is comparing three sellers.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we buy lead lists of contractors and builders?
Be careful. Bought lists are often old and mix in people who never asked to hear from you. A list built from your own customers, site visits and the building approval boards of towns you serve will answer better.
How do we stop duplicate enquiries from one buyer?
Record the phone number first. Search before adding a new row. A buyer who rings, messages and fills a form is one lead with three touches, not three leads.
What makes a lead qualified at a quarry?
A named site, a material or grade, a quantity and a delivery date within reach of your tippers. Without these four, the enquiry is a question, not yet an order.
Can offline sources like site boards count?
Yes, if a number or a code on the board is unique. A board at your own gate or a painted number on tippers can be tracked, if each caller is asked where he saw it.
Do we need advertising, or are pages and a phone enough?
Pages and a phone that is answered come first. Search advertising adds value for one material and one delivery area once those work. A quarry with regular buyers may not need much more.
Can you promote a quarry without us sharing lease or permit papers?
A larger buyer will ask for your papers, so we ask to see them too. Lease, permit, transport and environmental rules for mining and quarrying differ by state and change, so your own adviser confirms the current ones. We never describe a permit we have not seen, and we never advertise a grade or a quantity your papers do not cover.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
