Plastic recycling companies · Lead generation

Find the moulders who buy your granules and the suppliers who feed your plant.

Lead generation for a plastic recycler means finding two kinds of enquiry: moulders and manufacturers who will buy flake, regrind or granules, and aggregators or factories who will sell sorted scrap. GullySales works on both lists separately, so each enquiry reaches the right person at the plant.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For plastic recycling companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A granule buyer and a scrap seller are different leads”

The moulder asks about grade, colour and moisture. The aggregator asks about rate, weighing and payment day. One enquiry form and one reply template fail both, and the plant manager ends up sorting the messages by hand.

  • “The first order is a trial, not a truck”

A moulder rarely commits a full load to a new recycler. The real lead is the sample request, and it only turns into an order if the sample carries a lot sheet and somebody follows it to the machine.

  • “Marketplace enquiries arrive without context”

A listing on a trade directory brings a name, a quantity and a city. The buyer may be a trader, a moulder or a student, and nobody at the plant has time to find out which before the next call comes in.

  • “Feed supply is a lead problem too”

When the plant runs short of bales, the cause is a thin list of suppliers. Sourcing is prospecting, and it needs a named list of aggregators, factories and collection points to approach.

What we do

What we deliver for plastic recycling companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Two enquiry paths

A buyer path and a supplier path, each with its own form, questions and reply, routed to the right person at the plant.

Result: Every enquiry is labelled buyer or supplier when it arrives.

  2. A moulder target list

Crate, bucket, pipe, film and packaging units in your region that already use recycled content, listed with the person who buys material.

Result: You hold a named list of moulders, not a general mailing.

  3. A sample request routine

A short request step asking for grade, machine and quantity needed in the buyer's words, with a sample and lot sheet sent in return.

Result: Each sample sent is linked to the lot it came from.

  4. A supplier sourcing list

Aggregators, factories and campuses with sorted plastic, listed with the grades they hold and the contact who decides.

Result: The buying team knows whom to call about which grade.

  5. Marketplace enquiry sorting

A simple sorting step for directory leads that separates traders, moulders and suppliers before anyone replies.

Result: A directory lead is qualified before the first call.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Record what separates a granule buyer from a scrap seller at the first message.

Buyer or seller of scrap
Tick this on the first line of the enquiry. It sends the message to the sales desk or the purchase desk and decides which reply goes out.
Polymer and form wanted
PP granules, HDPE regrind, PET flake or LDPE film bale. The reply quotes only grades the plant makes and does not waste a call on a grade it never stocks.
Machine and product the moulder runs
Injection, blow or extrusion, and the end product. The plant manager can then say whether a sample is worth sending and which lot to pull.
Colour and melt requirement
Natural, black or a fixed shade, and any melt flow range the buyer quotes. A buyer who cannot state one gets a standard lot sheet and a call from the lab.
Scrap type and pickup place
For a supplier: bottle, film, crate or mixed, plus the town and approximate bale count. It tells the purchase desk whether the truck route makes sense.
Sample sent and who tried it
Log the date, the lot number and the production person who ran it. The next call is then to that person, not to the purchase head who never saw the material.

Who it is for

This is written for these plastic recycling companies.

  • PET bottle flake and fibre-grade recyclers
  • HDPE and PP granule makers for moulded goods and crates
  • LDPE film and agricultural plastic recyclers
  • Washing and pelletising units that process mixed post-consumer plastic
  • Recyclers who convert waste into finished goods like pipes, pallets and furniture
  • Industrial scrap recyclers buying regrind from moulders
  • Collection and aggregator businesses that sell sorted bales
  • Recyclers working with producers and brand owners on take-back

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your washing and pelletising line is running at full load, so a new buyer would only wait while the existing buyers are served.
  • You have no lot sheet to send with a sample, so a moulder would try the material with nothing to compare it against.
  • Nobody at the plant can take a supplier's call about rate and weighing, so scrap enquiries would sit unanswered.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we chase trading firms or only moulders?
Both can buy, but they behave differently. A trader buys on price and resells; a moulder buys on consistency and repeats. Tag each lead by type so your effort goes where repeat orders come from.
Can lead generation also fix our scrap supply?
Yes, the same method applies in reverse. A named list of suppliers, a clear buying note on grading and payment, and a record of each call turn sourcing from luck into a routine.
Should the enquiry form ask for the quantity a buyer needs?
Ask for a rough monthly need, not a firm order size. A moulder testing a new source will not name a volume, but the rough figure tells the plant whether to send a sample or to wait until the line has spare capacity.
How do we avoid enquiries from students and traders?
Ask for the machine type and the end product on the form. A moulder answers in one line, while a trader or student leaves it blank or writes something vague, so the plant manager can sort those enquiries before returning calls.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
