MSME and business finance providers · WhatsApp marketing

Send the papers checklist on WhatsApp, and keep the owner's bank statements out of the chat.

WhatsApp marketing for an MSME and business finance provider means consent-based messages to owners who enquired, such as the papers list, a status update on a file or a renewal reminder. GullySales sets up the opt-in, the templates and a secure way to receive documents, and keeps rate and approval words out of the messages.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily, which gets read faster than email or SMS. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For MSME and business finance providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “KYC papers arrive on a salesman's personal WhatsApp”

Bank statements, GST returns and Aadhaar copies sit in a chat on an officer's phone. When he leaves or loses the phone, the owner's data goes with it.

  • “The owner replies after the shop shuts”

He deals with customers until evening and answers in the night. A reply routed to a desk that opens at ten loses him by then, and one that is automated looks careless.

  • “An offer message reads as a promise of approval”

A broadcast saying pre-approved loan for you invites complaints if the credit team later declines. Rules on digital lending and data consent apply, so have compliance read the wording.

What we do

What we deliver for MSME and business finance providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An opt-in captured on the application

A consent line and the WhatsApp number on every form and partner intake sheet, stored with the date and the source.

Result: You know who agreed to be messaged and when.

  2. Templates for papers, status and renewal

Approved message templates for a papers request, a file status update and a renewal reminder, written without rates, amounts or approval language.

Result: Every officer uses wording compliance has already read.

  3. A secure link for documents

A link or upload page for statements and KYC, so papers go to your system and not to chats on staff phones.

Result: Documents have one home, and the owner is told where they went.

  4. A business profile owners can verify

Your registered name, office address, website and licence details, and a line telling owners which number you message from.

Result: An owner can tell your message from a fraudster's.

  5. Reply routing to the owner's officer

Replies go to the named relationship officer in office hours, with a message sent after hours that says when to expect a call, only if the team agrees to it.

Result: The reply reaches a person who knows the file.

  6. Replies and file progress counted

Messages sent, replies, papers received after a request and files that moved, against the audit baseline.

Result: You see whether the checklist message brings papers.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a business finance provider settles before its first WhatsApp message to an owner.

Opt-in recorded on the application
Add a consent line and the WhatsApp number to every form. An owner who only rang to ask about a machine loan has agreed to nothing. Keep the date and the source of each consent.
A business profile that proves who you are
Use the registered company name, office address, website and licence details your compliance officer approves. Tell every owner in person that this is the only number you message from.
Templates for papers, status and renewal
Write the message for a papers request, a file status and a renewal reminder. Leave out rates, amounts and the word approved. Submit for approval and keep the approved wording on file.
Who pays for each message
Messages a business starts are charged by category and the terms change. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning messages for every file.
A way to stop
Every message says how to stop and how else to reach the office. Mark opt-outs in the file so no officer messages that owner again from a personal number.
Sensitive papers stay off the chat
Ask for bank statements and KYC through your secure upload link, not as chat attachments. Say so in the first message so the owner does not send them out of habit.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for MSME and business finance providers

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace how last year's enquiries arrived, by source and partner, and how many stopped at papers, at credit or after sanction, with how many declined owners were ever called again.

  2. 2

    Set the first screen

A product page, a papers checklist and a short set of questions for each loan, agreed with your credit head so the first conversation matches the credit policy.

  3. 3

    Build the partner routes

The introduction kit for CAs and dealers, the agreement and codes for DSAs, and a note back to every introducer when a file closes.

  4. 4

    Run the seasons

Campaigns timed to financial year-end, the festival stock-up and machinery buying periods, with wording compliance has read before launch.

  5. 5

    Measure to drawdown

Enquiries, papers complete, sanctioned and drawn down, counted by source against the baseline, so you can see which channel brings loans and not only files.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use broadcast lists or the WhatsApp Business API?
A broadcast list on the app suits a small team messaging owners who saved your number. The API suits several officers, approved templates and records. Pick by how many people reply and whether files must be traced. Check WhatsApp's current terms for each.
Can our officers keep using their own WhatsApp numbers?
Not for files. A personal number means the owner's papers and the conversation leave with the officer. Use a company number, with officers added as users, and stop partners from pointing owners to their personal numbers.
Can we message the list a DSA has given us?
Only if the owners agreed to be contacted by you. A partner's contact list is not consent. Ask the partner for the consent record, message once with a clear opt-out, and stop if there is any doubt.
Can we start a WhatsApp group with a CA and his client?
Better not. A group puts the owner's business in front of several people, and anyone can forward it. Use one-to-one messages and send the CA a note of the status. Ask the owner whether he wants the CA copied on updates.
Can we advertise an interest rate or a loan amount?
Only if the figure is current, the conditions travel with it and your compliance officer has approved how it is shown. Rates move with the borrower's profile, so many lenders show how pricing is decided and let the first call give the figure.
Will your team speak to our applicants about their loans?
No. We write the reply wording, set up the records and train your staff. Anything about a borrower's eligibility, offer or repayment is said by your team, because the licence and the credit decision are yours.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
