Child welfare NGOs · Local SEO

Be the trusted name nearby, with an office address and no residence on the map.

Local SEO for a child welfare NGO is how your organisation appears when people search in your city or district for a children's charity, a place to volunteer or a way to donate nearby. GullySales works on the map listing, the office address you show and the local pages that connect to your programmes.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For child welfare NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A children's home must not appear on a map”

A pin on the exact building tells anyone searching where children live. The listing should carry the registered or administrative office, set to a service area, and the residence stays off.

  • “Local donors search by neighbourhood and occasion”

A family wanting to mark a birthday by giving, or a college group looking for a place to volunteer, searches with a city or locality. A page that names your area meets that search.

  • “Mismatched details make a charity look unreliable”

If the name, the office address and the phone number differ between the listing, the site and the directories, a funder doing due diligence may doubt which is correct. One version everywhere removes the doubt.

  • “Reviews on a children's listing need care”

Visitors may write about a day with the children and add names or photographs. The listing should state visiting rules, and the team should know how to flag a review that exposes a child.

What we do

What we deliver for child welfare NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map listing set up for safety

An office-based listing with a service area, the right type for a charity, opening times for the office and no residential address.

Result: Searching your name shows the office and no home.

  2. One consistent set of details

The name, address and contact details checked against the site, social profiles and directories, and corrected to match.

Result: Every public source shows the same details.

  3. Local pages for the areas you serve

A page each for the districts or neighbourhoods where you work or recruit volunteers, written around your programmes there.

Result: A local searcher finds a page for their own area.

  4. A reviews and visits policy

A short rule on how reviews are answered, what visitors may post, and how a review naming a child is reported and removed.

Result: The team knows what to do when a review exposes a child.

  5. Local partners listed

Schools, companies and community groups that support you, linked with their agreement from a local page.

Result: Local supporters are visible to a local searcher.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we show the shelter on a map for visitors?
Not publicly. Visitors should apply first, be screened under your visiting rules and receive directions privately. Keep the map listing to your office.
Do we need local pages if donors come online from everywhere?
Local pages serve the volunteers, companies and institutions near you. National sponsors need different pages. Decide which audience each programme is for, then write pages that match.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
