Professional associations · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for event notices and replies, and keep circulars out of the group.

WhatsApp marketing for a professional association means using the app practitioners already open for event notices, registration links and short replies, with consent recorded. GullySales sets the groups, the broadcast habits and the message wording.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For professional associations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every branch has a group and none has rules”

The group fills with greetings, forwards and advertisements, and serious members mute it. A group with a stated purpose and an admin who removes noise stays read.

  • “A registration link buried in a long forward is missed”

A workshop notice with six paragraphs and the link at the bottom brings few sign-ups. A short message with date, venue, who it is for and one link is read on a phone in a corridor.

  • “Adding members to a group without asking creates complaints”

A practitioner added to a group by a colleague may leave at once and think less of the body. Ask first, record the yes, and offer a broadcast list for those who want notices only.

  • “Sponsors want to message members and members never agreed”

A sponsor asking for the member numbers should be told no. The association can send a sponsor notice itself, to members who agreed to receive such notices.

What we do

What we deliver for professional associations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Group and broadcast structure

Which groups exist, who administers them and which notices go by broadcast list.

Result: A one-page structure for every branch.

  2. Event notice template

A short message with date, venue, audience and a single registration link.

Result: A template that fits one phone screen.

  3. Opt-in capture

A line on join and registration forms asking for WhatsApp consent.

Result: A consent column in the member record.

  4. Group rules message

A pinned message setting purpose, language and what is not posted.

Result: Rules the admin can point to.

  5. Reply bank

Ready answers to common questions on fees, dates and eligibility.

Result: A set of replies the secretary can paste and edit.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we use the WhatsApp Business app for the association?
Yes, for a business-style profile, labels and quick replies. Check the platform's current rules on broadcasts and consent, because they change.
Should sponsors be allowed in member groups?
We advise against it. Keep sponsor messages to a separate notice sent by the association, to members who agreed, so the learning group stays useful.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
