CCTV and security system installers · Email marketing

A renewal reminder is the difference between a job and an account.

Email and WhatsApp for a CCTV installer carry two things: the annual maintenance contract falling due, and the follow-up on proposals sent to schools, factories and societies. GullySales builds the customer record behind both and puts a reminder on every warranty end and renewal date.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For CCTV and security system installers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Renewal dates are the only calendar this business has”

Every installation carries a warranty end and an AMC due date. Without a list of them, yearly income turns into whoever happens to ring.

  • “Homeowners answer WhatsApp and ignore email”

A shop or a flat replies to a message naming the technician and the system installed. Email is for the school, the factory and the society, where an approval has to be forwarded to somebody else.

  • “A committee proposal needs three follow-ups”

The agenda slips, the treasurer changes, the quorum fails. A proposal sent once and left alone waits until somebody cheaper turns up at the gate.

What we do

What we deliver for CCTV and security system installers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A customer record with the system and the dates

Cameras, recorder, hard disk, installation date, warranty end and AMC status recorded for every customer in a simple system your office can use.

Result: The office can see next month's renewals at a glance.

  2. AMC reminders sent before the date

A message six weeks out, another a week before, and a call after that, with a health check visit offered alongside the renewal.

Result: Renewals stop being lost to silence.

  3. Warranty expiry messages with an offer attached

A note as the warranty ends, explaining what changes and what an AMC covers, sent to customers who never took one.

Result: One-time customers turn into yearly accounts.

  4. A follow-up sequence for institution proposals

Dated emails and calls after a proposal to a school, factory or society, with the decision date and the person deciding recorded.

Result: A proposal gets three chances instead of one.

  5. An upgrade campaign to older installations

Messages to customers whose analogue systems are years old, showing what an IP upgrade changes and what cabling can be reused.

Result: A repair call becomes an upgrade order.

  6. Consent recorded for WhatsApp and email

Permission to message taken at handover and kept with the customer record, with a simple way for anyone to stop receiving messages.

Result: The list stays usable and nobody is annoyed by it.

  7. Renewals and upgrades reported

AMC contracts signed and renewed, upgrade orders and proposals closed, set against the baseline recorded before work began.

Result: You can watch recurring income build.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a CCTV installer needs in place before it emails customers about contracts and proposals.

A register of every installed site
For each site, record the customer, address, the make of recorder and cameras, the install date and the AMC end date. Without the end date there is nothing to remind anyone about.
An AMC end date as a field you can filter
Keep the end date in its own column so you can pull out contracts due. A date buried in a free-text note is missed, and the customer calls a cheaper installer when the system fails.
Open proposals listed with their contact
List each proposal sent to a school, factory or society, with the person who decides, the date sent and the date they said they would revert. A follow-up mail needs those three facts.
A privacy line and no customer footage
Never put a screenshot of a customer's cameras, floor plan or recording in a mail or case study. If you show a site, ask the customer in writing, and say what you will leave out.
Society and school contacts by role
For an apartment association, note the secretary, treasurer and the committee member who handles security. For a school, the administrator and the principal. A proposal sent to the wrong role stalls.
A service person who answers the reply
Replies about a fault or a renewal go to the service coordinator, who can send a technician. Add a plain unsubscribe link, and keep service notices apart from offers.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our customers are all on WhatsApp. Is email worth anything?
For institutions, yes. A school or a factory needs something to forward to the principal or to accounts, and a WhatsApp message will not be attached to a file note. Use the channel the buyer uses.
How far ahead should an AMC reminder go out?
About six weeks, then again a week before the date, then a call. Renewals are lost to silence more than to price. Offering a health check visit with the reminder gives your technician a reason to be there.
Can we put photos of a customer's site in a case study email?
Only with the customer's written permission, and never a view that shows their layout, camera positions or blind spots. Safer to use your own demo setup or show the installation without identifying the premises.
Who in a housing society should get our proposal?
Send it to the secretary, copy the treasurer, and ask who on the committee handles security. A decision usually needs a committee meeting, so write the proposal so it can be read aloud there. Do not mail individual residents.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
