Cinema halls and multiplexes · Local SEO

Show the right timings, address and parking when a buyer searches near me.

Local SEO for a cinema hall is the work on the Google Business Profile, the map listing and the local pages that decide whether a nearby buyer finds the hall and trusts what it shows. GullySales works on the profile details, the photographs and the review replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For cinema halls and multiplexes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The profile is the front door”

A buyer standing in a mall or on a road searches for a cinema and sees the map pack first. Wrong hours, an old phone number or a missing photo of the lobby sends them to the next pin.

  • “Directions and parking decide the evening”

A family with children wants to know where to park, which entrance to use and how far the screen is from the car. A hall that answers these on the listing removes a reason to choose elsewhere.

  • “Photographs show the seats, not only the poster”

Buyers look for recliners, screen size and a clean washroom. A set of recent photographs of the auditorium, lobby and food counter answers questions the buyer would otherwise take to a review site.

  • “A review about sound or seating shapes the pin”

One angry post about a broken seat or weak sound colours the whole listing when it sits unanswered. A reply from the hall shows the next reader that someone is paying attention.

What we do

What we deliver for cinema halls and multiplexes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and clean-up

Name, business type, hours, phone, address, booking link and attributes checked and corrected.

Result: Every field on the profile matches the hall as it is today.

  2. A photograph shot list for the hall

A list of the images the profile needs: entrance, lobby, screens, seats, food counter, parking and signage.

Result: The owner can tick each image off against the list.

  3. A reply guide for reviews

Short replies for common comments on sound, seats, cleanliness, queues and refunds, written to be adapted.

Result: Each review gets an answer from the hall in its own voice.

  4. A directions and parking section

A page and profile text covering landmarks, entry gates, parking and the nearest public transport.

Result: A visiting buyer can plan the trip without phoning.

  5. Local pages for nearby areas

Pages for the localities the hall draws from, each naming the route to the hall.

Result: The hall appears for searches that name the neighbourhood.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we keep show timings correct on Google?
Name one person to update the profile when the schedule changes, and link to the hall's own schedule page. The booking link and the posts section carry the week's titles. GullySales sets this routine up with the manager.
Should we reply to every review?
Reply to the ones that name a specific problem and to the praise that names a person or a feature. A short, polite reply that states what the hall will check reads better than a pasted apology.
Can we show food and combo options on the profile?
Yes. The menu and combo photographs can be uploaded to the profile, which puts the food counter in front of a buyer who is still choosing between halls.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
