Destination wedding planners · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a parent searches for a planner in the city the family has chosen.

For a destination wedding planner, SEO means appearing when a family types a place with the word wedding, whether the palace city, the beach town or a country abroad. GullySales works on the destination pages, the wording that matches how families search and the pages that show how guests are handled.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For destination wedding planners

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families search the city before they search the planner”

A parent types the name of a place with the word wedding and reads whatever comes up. A planner without a page about that place does not appear, however many weddings have been run there.

  • “One portfolio page cannot rank for six cities”

A single page named Our Work gives search engines no reason to show it for Goa, Jaipur or Phuket. Each destination needs its own page, written from weddings you have actually run in that place.

  • “The searcher may be an NRI parent in another time zone”

Families in the Gulf, the UK and the US search from abroad and compare Indian planners on a phone. Pages that load plainly and say how guests are met on arrival are read more closely than pages with large videos.

  • “Venue names bring searches that planners ignore”

Families search for a named palace or resort with the word planner beside it. A page about weddings at that property, with what the property allows, reaches families who have already picked the place.

What we do

What we deliver for destination wedding planners.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per destination

Udaipur, Goa, Jaipur, Kerala and abroad, each with venues, guest travel, season and what to plan around.

Result: Every place you plan in has a page of its own.

  2. Venue pages for the properties you know

A short page for each palace or resort where you have run weddings, covering rooms, spaces and the arrival routine.

Result: A family searching a venue name finds your page.

  3. Portfolio entries written to be found

Each wedding described by place, venue, guest count and logistics, with titles a parent would type.

Result: Portfolio entries carry searchable titles, not just photographs.

  4. Page titles and headings checked

The title tag and headings of every page rewritten around the place and the service.

Result: Each page names its destination in the title.

  5. A search report for destination terms

Where your pages appear for the place-and-wedding searches you chose, recorded before and after the work.

Result: You can see which destination searches now show your pages.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

This is written for these destination wedding planners.

  • Planners who handle weddings at palace hotels and heritage properties in Rajasthan
  • Beach wedding specialists in Goa and on the Konkan and Kerala coast
  • Planners for NRI families who marry in India while living in the US, UK or Gulf

  • Larger planning companies with in-house decor, travel desk and hospitality teams
  • Planners that sell guest travel and room-block management as a separate line

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a blog for SEO?
A blog is one route. A destination page written from your own weddings does more for a planner than a general article, so start there and add articles when a question keeps coming from families.
Can photographs hold a ranking by themselves?
No. Search engines read words, so each portfolio entry needs a title and a plain description of the place, the venue and what you handled beside the images.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
