Plan search, social, email and sales outreach around one release calendar.

Digital marketing for an entertainment portal joins the channels that bring readers and sponsors: search, social, email, video and direct outreach. GullySales ties them to the release calendar so each channel supports a title instead of running by itself.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For entertainment portals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels run separately miss the release”

Search, social and email each follow their own habit and a release gets three half-efforts. Planning from the title outward gives each channel a part in the same story.

  • “Paid reach for the portal competes with its own inventory”

Buying traffic to a page whose ad slots are unsold wastes the spike. Selling the slots first and then promoting the page keeps spend and income in step.

  • “Email is the channel the portal owns”

Search rules and social reach change under the portal's feet. A list of readers who asked for release updates stays in the portal's hands, and it is the base a sponsor can be offered.

  • “Measurement has to include the sales side”

Page views alone do not say whether the work paid. Counting sponsor enquiries, releases sold and returning readers next to traffic shows whether a channel is worth the effort.

What we do

What we deliver for entertainment portals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page channel plan per major release

The role of search, social, email, video and outreach for a given title, with who owns each.

Result: Everyone can see what each channel does for the release.

  2. A sell-first rule for paid promotion

A step that checks sponsor slots before any paid push to a page.

Result: Paid reach goes to pages with a buyer.

  3. A reader email list set-up

Sign-up forms, a welcome message and a basic structure for alerts.

Result: The portal holds a list of readers who agreed to hear from it.

  4. A shared measures sheet

Traffic, sign-ups, enquiries and sold releases on a single page.

Result: The team reads traffic and revenue side by side.

  5. A channel review after each major release

A short look at what each channel contributed and what to change.

Result: The next release plan starts with evidence from the last.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which channel should we start with?
The one that already brings your readers or buyers, found in your analytics and sales log. GullySales checks them before suggesting a start.
Do you run our paid ads?
GullySales plans where paid promotion fits and works with your team on the accounts. Results from advertising cannot be promised.
How do we know what is working?
By reading sales and audience figures together. A channel that adds traffic but no enquiries or sign-ups is a different case from one that adds both.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
