EV charging station operators · Local SEO

Make each charger's map pin tell the driver the connector, the hours and who to call.

Local SEO for a charging operator is the upkeep of each station's presence on maps and charging apps, where drivers decide in seconds. GullySales works on the listings, the photographs and the review flow behind each pin.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For EV charging station operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The driver reads the pin before the website”

Low battery sends a driver to a map. The pin shows a name, a distance, a rating and a few photographs. If the connector type is missing, the driver goes to the next pin that names it.

  • “A broken charger on a map spreads”

One review saying the charger did not start sits at the top of the listing for the next driver. A reply that states what was done answers the reader as well as the reviewer, and an unanswered complaint reads as indifference.

  • “Host properties compete with your listing”

A mall's own listing may mention parking but not the charger. Two entries for one place confuse a driver. Each station needs a clear name, tied to the host property in the description, and a single verified profile.

  • “Photographs decide whether a driver trusts the spot”

A driver wants to see the connector, the bay, the lighting and whether the car park is open late. Photographs taken on site and updated after changes beat a stock image and settle the question before the drive.

What we do

What we deliver for EV charging station operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing audit for every station

A check of each pin on maps and apps for name, address, connector types, hours, phone number and photographs.

Result: Each station has a corrected listing and a list of open issues.

  2. Photograph set for each site

Guidance for photographs showing the connector, the bay, the signboard, the entrance and the surroundings.

Result: A driver can recognise the bay on arrival.

  3. A review request after a session

A short prompt, by message or sticker, inviting a driver to review once the charge is complete.

Result: Review requests reach drivers after each completed session.

  4. Replies to complaints

A written reply for each negative review stating the fault if known, the action taken and a number to call.

Result: Each complaint has a public reply from a named role.

  5. A routine for hours and status

A checklist for updating hours, holiday timings and temporary closures on every listing.

Result: Listings show the same hours as the host property.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can you manage our listings on map apps?
We prepare the listing details and a checklist for keeping them correct. Each platform has its own verification rules, so check the platform's current rules before changing names or categories.
What if the host property already has a listing?
Keep the charger as its own place when it has its own hours or phone line, and mention the host in the description. If it does not, add it to the host listing. Check the platform's current rules.
Should we reply to every review?
Yes, particularly to complaints. A calm reply stating what was done helps the next driver reading, who is deciding where to plug in.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
