Industrial mineral suppliers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for silica sand for glass, not just for the mineral's name.

SEO for a mineral supplier means being the page a plant buyer reaches when they search a mineral together with the industry that uses it. GullySales works on the grade pages, the phrases buyers type and the technical detail that lets a search engine and a kiln head both trust the page.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For industrial mineral suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search the use, not the rock”

A glass unit looks for silica sand for glass, a foundry for bentonite for moulding, a driller for barytes for drilling mud. A page titled only with the mineral misses these searches. Each grade page should lead with the industry that buys it.

  • “Thin pages lose to the marketplace listing”

IndiaMART and similar sites hold plenty of pages for every mineral. Your own page beats them only if it carries what they lack: analysis range, mesh or particle size, packing, the delivery area and a report a buyer can attach to a vendor file.

  • “One page for all grades blurs the search”

A single products page listing feldspar, quartz and clay gives a search engine no clear subject. A buyer wanting feldspar of a set whiteness lands on a list. A page for each mineral, with a section for each grade, matches the way the specification is asked for.

  • “Spelling and unit habits differ by sector”

Ceramic buyers say mesh, paper buyers speak of particle size, drillers quote specific gravity. Using the unit the sector uses in headings and body text makes the page read as written by a supplier who knows the plant.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial mineral suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search phrase map by mineral and use

A sheet pairing each mineral with the industries and phrases buyers type, assigned to one page each.

Result: Every grade page has a stated phrase it is built to match.

  2. Grade page rewrite

Headings, analysis figures from your lab, packing and delivery area set out in the order a buyer reads them.

Result: The page answers the specification question without a phone call.

  3. Technical markup and speed check

Titles, descriptions, headings and page structure corrected, with large report files made light enough to open on a phone.

Result: The pages pass the checks the site tool reports.

  4. Internal links between minerals and uses

Links from each industry page to the grades it uses, and back, so related pages support each other.

Result: A buyer can move from one grade to a neighbouring one.

  5. Search position record

The phrases tracked at the start and read again after changes, with no ranking promised.

Result: You can compare where each phrase stood before and after.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will we reach the first page for our mineral?
We cannot promise a position. Competition, your grade and the age of the site all count. We build the pages that match the phrases buyers use, then read where they stand.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Not first. Grade pages carry the buying searches. Articles on testing, grading or use come after, and only where a buyer question has no page that answers it.
Does the marketplace listing hurt our own site?
No. Keep both. The listing catches buyers already on the marketplace, and your page serves the ones searching elsewhere. The wording on each should match your sheet so the figures never differ.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
