Irrigation equipment companies · Lead generation

Find the dealers, designers and estates that will specify your pumps and pipes.

Lead generation for an irrigation equipment company means finding the dealers, system designers and large growers who can put your products on a drawing or a shelf, not only the farmer who asks for a price. GullySales works on the sources of those enquiries and on a record that shows where each one came from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For irrigation equipment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The farmer is the last person to choose the brand”

A grower rings the trusted dealer or designer and asks what to put in. If your leads are counted only from farmers, you miss the people who made the choice, and you never see the dealer who sent the enquiry elsewhere.

  • “A designer's enquiry is a size and a pressure rating”

An irrigation designer with a drawing open wants a pipe size, a filter capacity or a sprinkler spread, and a person who answers. A form asking for company turnover loses that enquiry before it reaches your sales team.

  • “Estates and FPOs buy in lumps and ask in groups”

A plantation manager or a farmer producer organisation compares quotes for a whole block. Their first message is an enquiry for a project, and it needs a different reply from a single dealer asking for a price list.

  • “A lead from a pending scheme or loan is still a lead”

Buyers waiting on a bank sanction or a subsidy go quiet. Treated as dead, they buy from whoever stayed in touch, so such enquiries need a stage and a next date rather than silence.

What we do

What we deliver for irrigation equipment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Lead sources by link in the chain

A list of where enquiries can start: dealer counters, designers, estate managers, farmer groups, product pages and WhatsApp, each given a name in your records.

Result: Every enquiry carries a source, so you can see which link in the chain brings the serious ones.

  2. Dealer and designer prospect lists by district

Names of dealers and designers in the districts you want, with the brands they already stock and who handles buying.

Result: A district list your representatives can call or visit from, instead of working from memory.

  3. Enquiry pages for project buyers

Short pages for estates, FPOs and contractors that ask for the crop area, the water source and the stage of the project in plain words.

Result: A project enquiry reaches you with the details needed for a first quote.

  4. A one-line reply for each enquiry type

Written replies for a dealer asking for terms, a designer asking for a size and an estate asking for a project quote.

Result: The first answer fits the person asking and goes out the same way every time.

  5. Lost and waiting enquiry review

A sheet that separates enquiries lost on price, waiting on a loan or subsidy, and waiting for the crop season.

Result: A clear list of enquiries that deserve another call, with the reason beside each.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we chase farmers directly or work through dealers?
Your dealers remain the route to the farmer, so lead generation here aims at dealers, designers and large growers first. Farmer enquiries that reach you are passed to the nearest dealer and logged, so the dealer is not bypassed.
How do we know which lead source is worth the effort?
Each enquiry is tagged with its source when it is first recorded. Later, the quotes won are read against those tags, which shows the sources that produce orders and the ones that produce only calls.
Can you promise a number of leads?
No. Leads depend on your range, your district coverage and the season. We set up the sources and the record, and we report what actually arrived.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
