Irrigation equipment companies · Search engine optimisation

Let a designer find your filter by its size before the competitor's catalogue.

SEO for an irrigation equipment company is the work of making product, size and application pages appear when a dealer, designer or estate manager searches for a part. GullySales works on page structure, product wording and the searches that precede a specification.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For irrigation equipment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search for a fitting, not a brand”

A designer types a pipe diameter with a pressure class, or an estate manager searches for a filter for sandy borewell water. A brand page full of slogans never matches those words, while a plain page for the product does.

  • “A downloaded PDF is invisible if it is only a PDF”

Some companies keep specifications in a catalogue file with no page around it. Search engines read a web page far better, so the same facts placed on a page with a download link get found and forwarded.

  • “Regional words matter as much as English ones”

A grower or dealer may search in Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil or Hindi, using the local name for a method or a tool. Pages that use only English technical terms leave those searches to the competitor.

  • “Advice pages bring the buyer before the quote”

Questions about clogged emitters, pump head or pipe burst at joints come before a purchase. A clear answer on your site puts your name in front of the buyer and the dealer ahead of the price comparison.

What we do

What we deliver for irrigation equipment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A product page for each family

One page per pump, pipe, filter or sprinkler family with sizes, ratings, applications and a download, written in the words buyers search.

Result: Each product family has a page that a search can land on and a person can forward.

  2. Size and application tables

Tables that list diameter, pressure class and suitable use in text, not as an image.

Result: A designer finds the size line on the page without opening a file.

  3. Regional language search pages

Pages for the main product groups in the language of your priority districts, using the local names for products and methods.

Result: Searches in the district's own language lead to a page of yours.

  4. Answer pages for common field problems

Plain pages on filter choice for different water sources, joint failures and pump selection, with a link to the relevant product.

Result: Questions asked before buying lead to your site and then to the product page.

  5. Technical fixes and page index

Checks that product pages load on a phone, have clear titles and are listed for search engines to read.

Result: A list of pages searchable today and a list that still need work.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will ranking higher bring us orders?
Better pages bring more of the right searches to your site. Orders still depend on dealers, price and supply. We do not promise rankings or sales, only well-built pages and a record of where visits come from.
We sell only through dealers. Does SEO matter?
Yes. Dealers and designers search for specifications, and growers search for a nearby dealer. Product pages and a dealer locator serve both, and a farmer who finds you is directed to a dealer.
Do we need pages in regional languages?
Where your dealers and growers work in a regional language, those pages are worth writing. Start with the districts where you have the most stockists and extend as the record shows demand.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
