Nursery businesses · WhatsApp marketing

Send the stock list on WhatsApp before the buyer asks what is on the bench.

WhatsApp marketing for a nursery is the use of chats, a business profile and broadcast lists to share stock, answer questions and take orders. GullySales works on the catalogue, the saved replies and the rules for who answers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For nursery businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers ask on WhatsApp what is in stock”

Landscapers and regulars message to ask if a plant is available before driving over. The answer given from memory is wrong by the afternoon, and a wasted trip costs the nursery a customer.

  • “A photograph on chat closes the question”

A buyer wants to see the plant, not read its name. A clear picture with the size and pot in hand lets the buyer say yes or no on the spot.

  • “A broadcast list is not a group”

A list sends one message to every buyer on it, and they do not see each other. A group lets everyone read everyone, which suits a landscaper circle but not a general promotion.

  • “A shared phone loses messages”

When the owner, the counter and the delivery hand use one number on one phone, chats are missed. A named person for chat, and a handover note, stops enquiries going cold.

What we do

What we deliver for nursery businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

The nursery name, address, hours, a short description and a catalogue of the plant groups.

Result: A profile that tells a new contact what the nursery sells and when it is open.

  2. A stock and price list that is updated

A list in sizes and pot types that a hand updates, with a photograph for the best sellers.

Result: One list that can be forwarded when someone asks what is in stock.

  3. Saved replies for common questions

Replies for price, size, delivery, care and quantity enquiries.

Result: The team answers common questions in the same clear words.

  4. Broadcast lists by buyer type

Separate lists for landscapers, regular home buyers and farmers, with messages written for each.

Result: Each buyer group hears about the stock it buys.

  5. An answering rule and handover note

A named person who answers chats and a note of open enquiries passed on at day's end.

Result: No chat sits unanswered because everyone thought someone else had it.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send messages to everyone in our phone?
Message only people who have bought or asked, and give them a way to stop. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before you send to a long list.
Do we need the paid business API?
Not to start. The WhatsApp Business app with a catalogue and saved replies covers a small nursery. We look at the paid option only when volume outgrows one phone.
Can customers pay on WhatsApp?
Buyers can send a payment through their usual UPI app after the chat. We set up the order message and the amount; the payment itself goes through your own account.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
