Renewable energy consultants · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the question a finance head types, not for the installer's keyword.

SEO for a renewable energy consultant means being found for advisory searches such as open access, group captive and feasibility study, in the states where you work. GullySales works on the pages, the state notes and the search phrases that bring decision-makers and not equipment buyers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For renewable energy consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Installer searches belong to someone else”

A search for rooftop solar price is from a buyer who wants a quote. A consultant who ranks there collects calls that end the moment fees come up. The phrases worth targeting describe a decision: choosing a route, comparing proposals, checking a lender report.

  • “A search for a rule is a search for a state”

Open access and captive arrangements differ by state, so a buyer in one state wants pages written for theirs. A single national page reads as generic and loses to a page that names the state and its type of rules.

  • “Old policy content hurts more than no content”

An article on a state's rules that has stopped holding true misleads the reader and shows the buyer that nobody checks the site. A visible review line and an owner for each page keep search pages honest.

  • “The page has to show how you think”

A list of services gives a search engine words and a buyer nothing to judge. A page that works through one decision, including where the route fails, is what a finance head reads, forwards and remembers.

What we do

What we deliver for renewable energy consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search phrase list by decision

Phrases grouped by the choice behind them: route, state, lender report, tender. Installer phrases are marked to avoid.

Result: A list that shows which pages to write and which phrases to leave.

  2. Route explainer pages

One page per route in plain words, with a section on what the route is wrong for.

Result: Each page answers one buyer decision from start to end.

  3. State pages with a review line

A page per state you serve, describing the kind of rules in general terms, checked by your team and dated.

Result: A reader sees when the page was last checked.

  4. Page titles and snippets

Titles and descriptions that name the advisory service and the state, written for a person scanning results.

Result: Search results that say what you do and for whom.

  5. Search Console set-up

Google Search Console connected so you see which phrases bring visitors and which pages they leave.

Result: A view of real search phrases, free of guesswork.

  6. An update owner for each page

A named person on your side who rechecks each state and policy page when rules change.

Result: No page without someone responsible for it.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will you write about tariffs and policy?
Only in general terms. Your team confirms every statement before it goes live, and we do not quote a rate or an approval period. The page points the reader to a call for their own facts.
How will we know the SEO is working?
Look at the phrases that bring visitors, the enquiries that name a page and the share of those enquiries from decision-makers. Rankings alone mean little if the callers are installers.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
