Sound and lighting rental companies · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the date question on WhatsApp, where the planner already is.

WhatsApp marketing for a sound and lighting rental company means using the app where planners, DJs and hosts already talk to you to share gear lists, confirm dates and keep in touch with past customers. GullySales works on the message set, the catalogue and the rules for who replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For sound and lighting rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Event buyers ask on WhatsApp first”

A planner sends a venue pin and a date and expects a reply the same evening. If the enquiry sits in a personal chat on a phone at a site, it is slow. A shared business number with named responders keeps it moving.

  • “A gear list travels well as a message”

A clear list of speakers, mixers, mics and lights, with operator and set-up noted, can be forwarded to a committee or a family in seconds. A buyer who forwards your list does your selling for you.

  • “Broadcasts need consent”

Past customers can be messaged about festival dates, but only those who agreed to hear from you. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before sending to a list.

  • “Photos and voice notes slow the reply”

Long voice notes between the crew and the owner replace a written answer. A set of saved replies for date, operator, power and venue questions keeps the answer consistent when someone else is on the phone.

What we do

What we deliver for sound and lighting rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number setup

Profile, greeting, hours message and saved replies on a business account.

Result: A new enquirer sees a business, not a personal number.

  2. A catalogue of packages

Wedding, fest, conference and outdoor packages listed with rig descriptions and photos.

Result: A buyer can browse packages without a call.

  3. Saved replies for the usual questions

Written answers for availability, operator, power, set-up and sound check, edited to your voice.

Result: Any team member can send the same accurate answer.

  4. A consent list

Past customers who agreed to receive messages, tagged by the festival or event type they booked.

Result: Broadcasts go only to people who agreed to receive them.

  5. A reply rota

Named people for each day, with a rule for when the owner steps in on large quotes.

Result: Each message has a named person responsible for it.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send a message to all our old customers?
Only to those who have agreed to receive messages, and in line with the platform's current rules. We build the list from people who have said yes and keep a note of when and how.
Should the gear list go as a PDF or text?
Both help. A short text lists the main items and a PDF carries the full list. Buyers forward whichever is easier to read on a phone. We prepare both from the same source.
Is WhatsApp enough on its own?
It carries the conversation but not the record. Every enquiry still needs to be entered into your booking sheet, so a chat is not the only place a date is held.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
