Theatre and performing arts companies · Website

A company site that sells the next show and answers a school or a sponsor.

A website for a theatre company is where a stranger learns what is on, how to book and how to hire the company for a school, an office or a festival. GullySales builds the pages and keeps them simple enough for the team to update.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For theatre and performing arts companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The next show is the first thing visitors want”

A visitor arrives to find the date and the ticket link. A site that buries them under history and a long mission statement sends the visitor to the booking app.

  • “A school and a sponsor need separate paths”

The teacher wants workshops, the sponsor wants audience and credit, and the festival wants a clip and a rider. One contact page for everyone makes each work harder.

  • “The archive is the company's reputation”

Past productions with photographs, credits and short descriptions show the body of work. Without them, a new reader cannot judge the company.

  • “It must work on a phone”

The audience opens a link from a message, on a phone. Large buttons for tickets, directions and enquiries matter more than decorative pages.

What we do

What we deliver for theatre and performing arts companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A home page built around the next production

The upcoming show, the date, the venue and a ticket button at the top.

Result: A visitor sees the next show before anything else.

  2. Production pages and an archive

One page per production, kept after the run as a record.

Result: The site shows the full body of work.

  3. Workshop, corporate and sponsor pages

Pages for each service with details and a form.

Result: Each buyer can enquire from a page made for them.

  4. A media and technical page

Clips, photographs, a technical rider and a company profile.

Result: A festival or venue manager can find what they need in one place.

  5. Easy updates

A simple way for the team to change dates, add productions and replace images.

Result: The site stays current without a developer for every edit.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a website if we have Instagram?
Yes. Instagram is rented space; a site is yours. It carries the information that schools, sponsors and festivals look for and that social posts do not hold.
Can the site sell tickets?
It can link to the booking platform the company uses, and GullySales will connect it. Check that platform's current terms before showing its name or logo.
What should be on the first version?
The next show, the about page, a workshop page and a contact page. Add the rest as the company grows.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
