Veterinary pharmacies · WhatsApp marketing

For a veterinary pharmacy, WhatsApp is where the prescription photo arrives.

WhatsApp marketing for a veterinary pharmacy is using WhatsApp Business to receive prescription photos, confirm stock, send delivery details and keep in touch with vets and farmers. GullySales works on the order script, the stock replies and the limits on what is sent.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For veterinary pharmacies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The prescription photo is the enquiry”

A farmer or vet sends a picture of the slip and waits. The shop that replies with stock, price and delivery in one message gets the order; the shop that replies with a question loses the customer.

  • “The reply must travel with the stock list”

A reply needs a current list of what is on the shelf. Without it, staff check the shelf for each message and answer late, so the list and the script are built together.

  • “Broadcasts to farmers must be asked for”

A farmer who gave the number for orders may not want general messages. A list of those who agreed, and a stop option, keeps the shop's number in good standing with customers and the platform.

  • “The business number should not be a personal phone”

Orders live in one owner's phone and vanish when it is lost or the owner is away. A shared business number lets staff cover evenings and Sundays, with the log kept in one place.

What we do

What we deliver for veterinary pharmacies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business setup

Business profile, opening hours, greeting, away message and quick replies for stock, price and delivery.

Result: The profile shows the shop's name, hours and delivery area.

  2. A prescription order script

A fixed reply to a prescription photo that names availability, price and delivery, with prescription items handled as your licence requires.

Result: A test photo gets one complete reply.

  3. A stock reply sheet

The shared list of what is on the shelf, copied into replies by staff.

Result: Staff answer from the sheet, not the shelf.

  4. Opt-in lists by group

Separate lists for vets, farms and pet owners, each made of people who agreed to hear from the shop.

Result: A list per group with the date each agreed.

  5. Delivery day messages

Short messages naming each route, the delivery day and how to send the list.

Result: A farmer knows the day for their village.

  6. Rules for what is never sent

A short sheet banning medicine claims, unsolicited bulk messages and any message about a customer's animal health.

Result: The sheet is pinned beside the phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we send offers on medicines by WhatsApp?
We do not promote prescription medicines to the public. Advertising rules for veterinary medicines differ by profession and state, so check with your own drugs control adviser before anything goes out. Offers, if sent, are on pet food, accessories and delivery service.
Do we need the official business API?
Not to begin. The Business app handles an order flow for a single shop. The API suits larger shops with several staff, and the platform's current rules and charges should be checked.
Can staff use their own phones?
Better not. A shared business number keeps orders, customers and the log with the shop, and lets any staff member cover the evening shift.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
