Animal healthcare product companies · WhatsApp marketing

A vet reads a short WhatsApp message between cases and answers when it is useful.

WhatsApp marketing for an animal health company means using the app to reach vets, distributors and farmers with short, useful messages and to answer their questions. GullySales plans the contact list, the messages and the handover to your team, within the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For animal healthcare product companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “It is where vets and shops already talk”

Orders, case queries and photos move on WhatsApp in this trade. A company that is reachable there, with a named person, is easier to deal with than one that asks everyone to call.

  • “Permission comes before the broadcast”

Messages to people who did not expect them get ignored or reported. A list built from vets and shops who asked to hear from you, with a clear way to stop, protects the number and the brand.

  • “Short and specific beats long and general”

A message with one product note, one use and one question gets read. A long forwarded flyer does not. Photos of labels and storage must match registered information.

  • “Clinical questions need a person”

A vet may send a case photo and ask what to use. The reply must come from a qualified technical person, not a sales representative guessing. A clear handover rule keeps the company inside its limits.

What we do

What we deliver for animal healthcare product companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A permission-based contact list

Vets, shops and cooperatives who agreed to receive messages, grouped by district and by interest.

Result: Every message goes to someone who asked for it.

  2. A message library

Short messages for introduction, trial follow-up, new stock and shop reminders, approved by your team.

Result: The team sends consistent, approved wording.

  3. A farmer broadcast in district languages

Brief guidance messages for products sold to farmers, ending with an instruction to ask the vet.

Result: A farmer in the district reads advice in their own language.

  4. A handover rule for technical questions

A written route sending clinical queries to a named technical person, with a standard holding reply.

Result: No clinical answer is given by someone who is not qualified.

  5. A record of conversations that led to action

A log of which messages brought a trial request, an order or an enquiry.

Result: The owner learns which messages the buyers respond to.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send vets short messages they can use between cases.

Opt-in line after the first visit
A message from the rep asking whether the vet wants product notes on WhatsApp, with the reply recorded in the CRM.
Product note with label facts
A short card or PDF with the label information for one product, so the vet has it when a farmer calls, without dosing advice for cases.
Where to buy nearby
A message with the nearest stockist and their contact, sent when a vet or shop asks where the product is available.
Event or camp invitation
A message with topic, place and a reply to confirm, sent only to vets in that district.
Order query from a shop
A reply from the distributor desk to a shop asking about stock, kept in a thread the company can read.

Who it is for

This is written for these animal healthcare product companies.

  • Veterinary medicine and injectable brands
  • Poultry vaccine and health product companies
  • Cattle and buffalo supplement and mineral mixture brands
  • Feed additive and probiotic companies
  • Pet health and grooming product brands
  • Hygiene, teat dip and disinfectant makers for dairies
  • Diagnostic kit and test companies
  • Companies that supply products to government and cooperative tenders

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The company has not agreed what the team may say about dose or use, and replies in chat would be improvised.
  • Vets have not agreed to messages, and a bulk send would come from an unknown number.
  • No one watches the number during working hours, so questions asked in chat would sit.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. WhatsApp Business is enough for a small list. A larger programme may need the API through an approved provider. Check the platform's current rules before sending at scale.
Can we add vets to a group?
Only with their agreement. Adding people without asking is poor practice and can lead to complaints. We use opt-in lists and broadcast lists, not forced groups.
Can we send prescriptions or dosing advice?
Veterinary rules differ by state and body, so check with your own adviser. We do not draft clinical advice. Messages stay within registered information and point to the vet.
Can reps use their personal numbers?
It is better not to. A personal number leaves with the rep, and chats with vets go with it. Use a company number or business account that the team shares, with each message logged. If reps do use their own, set rules on content and keep a record of who agreed to be messaged.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
