Environmental testing laboratories · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the sampling schedule and the quote, where the plant already talks.

WhatsApp marketing for an environmental testing laboratory is the use of WhatsApp Business to take test enquiries, send quotations and confirm sampling visits with plant staff and consultants. GullySales works on the setup, the standard replies and the rules for consent.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Environmental testing laboratories: show a real physical business scene illustrating Sampling requests and field schedules. Plan sampling rounds by client, site and matrix, assign field staff, and prepare the bottle sets and preservatives needed for each visit before the vehicle leaves.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For environmental testing laboratories

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The sampler and the officer already chat”

Plant staff share the sampling point and contact details by message. A business number with clear replies fits that habit and keeps the thread in one place.

  • “Quote on WhatsApp, record elsewhere”

A rate sent as a message can be lost in a long chat. A short summary with a link to the full quotation, logged in the CRM, keeps both speed and a record.

  • “Broadcasts need permission”

Sending reminders to plants that never asked to hear from the lab gets complaints and blocks. Contact people who have dealt with the lab, say what the message is about and check the platform's current rules.

  • “The report should not travel loosely”

Sending a report file in a group exposes it. Share it with the named contact, keep a record of who received it and follow your quality system for report release.

What we do

What we deliver for environmental testing laboratories.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile set up properly

Name, address, hours, catalogue of tests and a greeting that asks for plant, test and due date.

Result: The first message collects what the quote needs.

  2. Saved replies for common questions

Answers on sampling preparation, scope and how to book, kept short and accurate.

Result: Staff answer the same way each time.

  3. A visit confirmation message

A message that states the sampling point, the arrival window agreed with the plant and who to contact.

Result: Plants know a visit is coming and who to ask.

  4. Opt-in capture

A simple way to record that a contact agreed to receive reminders, with the date.

Result: Reminders go only to people who agreed.

  5. A renewal reminder template

A message tied to the client's due date and sent from the business number.

Result: Plants hear from you before the due date.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send these messages, each with a record kept behind it.

Reply to a test enquiry
A saved reply that asks the test, the site and the date results are needed. Every enquiry gets the same useful first question.
Quotation sent as a file
The PDF with a line naming the scope and exclusions. The quote is also recorded in the client file, since the chat is not a record.
Visit confirmation
The date, the arrival window, the access needed and the sampler's name. Sent the day before, and the reply is saved to the visit.
Renewal reminder
The test, the last round and the date due, sent only to clients who agreed. A short message from the business number, not a personal one.
Opt-in record
Name, number, role and the date they agreed. Kept by one person, and consultants and plants are never added to a list without asking.

Who it is for

This is written for these environmental testing laboratories.

  • Water and wastewater testing laboratories for factories and housing societies
  • Stack emission and ambient air monitoring agencies
  • Soil, sludge and hazardous waste testing laboratories
  • Noise, workplace air and occupational hygiene monitoring firms
  • Drinking water laboratories serving packaged water, hotels and hospitals
  • Laboratories that support consultants with baseline data for clearances
  • Mobile and field laboratories that sample at the site
  • Laboratories that serve a single industrial cluster such as textile, pharma or food

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Staff use personal numbers for client chats and the history would leave with them, so a business number comes first.
  • You have no consent on file from past clients, so reminders sent to the old list would risk complaints and the account.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should a lab use a group for each client?
A group can work for a long-running client, but keep reports out of it. Use one named contact for report release and keep the group for scheduling.
Can we send reminders to every plant in the area?
Only to those who have dealt with you or agreed to hear from you. Check the platform's current rules and keep a record of consent.
How should a report travel on WhatsApp?
Send the report through a controlled route, such as a link with access limits or an email to the named contact, and use the chat only to tell them it has gone. Reports carry client data and a forwarded file is hard to recall. Record who received it.
Can the sampler use the business number?
Yes, through the shared business inbox with their name as the sender. The history then stays with the lab if the sampler leaves. Agree who answers which messages, and check the platform's current rules for sending to a list.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
