Master franchise operators · Digital marketing

Plan search, social and outlet launches as one effort for a brand new to India.

Digital marketing for a master franchise operator joins the candidate route, the outlet launches and the licensor reporting into one plan. A new brand in a new territory cannot rely on name recognition. GullySales plans the channels, the budget split and the measures against the opening targets in your licence.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For master franchise operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Two goals compete for one budget”

Money spent to find investors does not fill the existing outlets, and money spent on outlet customers does not bring investors. Without a stated split, the team switches between them whenever one looks weak.

  • “Channels judged by clicks mislead”

A post that earns attention from admirers abroad looks strong in a report. What matters is qualified candidates and outlet visits. Measures have to follow the licence targets, not the easiest number to show.

  • “Each approval slows a campaign”

Because the licensor approves creative, a campaign cannot change at the pace of an ordinary advertiser. Planning must allow for the wait and use pre-approved material for anything time-bound.

  • “The same ad cannot serve every city”

An outlet in Surat has a different neighbourhood, language and competitor set than one in Bengaluru. A national campaign needs local versions inside the brand book, or the unit owners buy their own.

What we do

What we deliver for master franchise operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan that splits investor and customer effort

A written plan stating how effort is divided between candidate search, outlet launches and brand awareness.

Result: The team knows what each rupee of marketing is meant to do.

  2. Measures tied to licence targets

A short list of numbers, such as qualified candidates, signed units and openings, reported against the licence.

Result: The report speaks to the targets the licensor set.

  3. A launch plan template for new cities

A repeatable sequence for entering a city: listings, local content, contacts and the first ads.

Result: Each city opens with the same preparation.

  4. An approval calendar with the licensor

A shared view of what is waiting for approval, who holds it and what depends on it.

Result: The team sees which campaigns are held up and by what.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches a master franchise plan has to cover, in turn.

franchise business opportunities in India
A broad search that suits a guide page and a paid search advert, aimed at investors in cities your licence covers.
[brand] franchise
A brand search from people who already know the name. The investor page must be at the top so they do not land on the customer pages.
best franchise to open in [city]
A comparison search. A fair guide page that places your brand beside the questions an investor should ask works better than a sales page.
[brand] store near me
A customer search answered by the outlet listings. Keep it out of the investor budget.
master franchise for [brand] India
A rare, high-value search from a candidate for territory rights. The page should lead to a direct conversation.

Who it is for

This is written for these master franchise operators.

  • Master franchisees for international food and beverage brands
  • Master franchisees for global education and child enrichment brands
  • Master franchise holders for fitness and wellness brands
  • Master franchisees for retail and lifestyle brands
  • Master franchise operators for hospitality and service brands
  • Regional master franchisees covering several Indian states
  • Master franchisees for Indian brands going into another territory
  • Area developers with rights to open multiple units themselves

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have fewer outlets than the licence needs and no clear plan for the next cities, so reach would be spread without direction.
  • Your approvals from the licensor are slow and uncertain, and campaigns would be waiting on paperwork.
  • The site has no way to take an investor enquiry apart from a customer one, so spend would mix the two.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where should the first budget go, investors or customers?
It depends on how many outlets are trading and how close you are to the licence targets. We look at your position and propose a split, which you can change as results come in.
Do you run the ads yourselves?
We plan and manage the campaigns with you. The accounts stay in your name, and the licensor's approvals stay in your process.
Can we advertise in cities where we have no outlet yet?
You can for investors, if your territory covers the city and the licensor approves the advert. Say clearly what is being offered. Customer advertising in a city with no outlet wastes money and creates a poor first impression of the brand.
How should the budget split between cities?
Put it where your licence is open and an outlet is ready, or near ready, to open. Spending on a city with no outlet in sight waits too long for a return. Revisit the split as outlets open and the licensor adds or removes cities.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
