Videography companies · Digital marketing

Choose the few channels that bring briefs and let the rest go.

Digital marketing for a videography company is the set of channels, such as search, the profile, social posts, chat and email, that bring briefs to your door. GullySales works on choosing the ones that fit your buyers and connecting them to one enquiry route.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For videography companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel is a claim on a small team's time”

A crew that is shooting four days in a week cannot run six channels. Picking search, the profile and one social platform, and doing them properly, beats thin effort across all of them.

  • “Paid reach to a general audience wastes the budget”

Video buyers are a small group of managers, organisers and agencies. An advertisement shown to everyone who likes video reaches people who will never commission one.

  • “Channels that do not meet at a form lose the buyer”

A post, a search result and a message all lead to different places. A single brief form and one reply routine let you see which channel produced which job.

  • “Showreel views are not enquiries”

A reel with plays and no briefs is a vanity count. The measure is the brief received, then the quote, then the booking, so the plan is built backwards from those.

What we do

What we deliver for videography companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for your buyers

A written choice of channels with the reason for each, based on how your recent clients found you.

Result: Effort goes where briefs have come from.

  2. One enquiry route

A brief form and a reply routine used by every channel.

Result: Every enquiry lands in the same place.

  3. A source-tagged enquiry log

A record of where each brief came from, the quote and the outcome.

Result: You can compare channels by bookings.

  4. A small paid test with a stop rule

A limited test on search for one service, with the condition on which it stops.

Result: Spend is tied to briefs, not to views.

  5. A review of what to drop

A list of channels and tasks that bring no briefs, marked for stopping.

Result: Time is freed for the ones that work.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Where a manager looks when they need a film, and what each place should hold.

video production company [city]
A service page for the city, a profile with photographs and a reel link, all pointing to the same brief form.
event video coverage price
A page explaining what drives an estimate for events, with a brief form that asks date, venue and purpose.
explainer video agency
A page for explainers showing the process and two finished examples, linked from a search ad where you test one.
company profile video sample
A page with a sample film and a note on what the client provided, which answers the first question.
[studio name] showreel
A page for the reel under a written description, which is the page a recommended crew gets sent to.

Who it is for

This is written for these videography companies.

  • Corporate film and company profile video producers
  • Event and conference videographers
  • Product and explainer video studios
  • Training and e-learning video producers
  • Drone and aerial videography companies
  • Real estate and hospitality video producers
  • Social media video and reel production teams
  • Live-streaming and multi-camera event crews

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The crew is booked through the season, and paid reach would add briefs you must decline.
  • You have no brief form or log, so no channel could be judged afterwards.
  • The reel is out of date and still shows work you no longer do.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we run ads?
Try a small test on one service in your city and judge it on briefs received. Check the platform's current rules, and stop it if the briefs do not come.
Do we need an agency?
Not necessarily. GullySales can set up the plan and the pages, while your crew keeps the client replies, which depend on your knowledge of the work.
How should we run a small paid test?
Pick one search term, one page and a stop rule written beforehand, such as a spend you will not exceed. Record which briefs came from it. The constraint is the crew's capacity: do not run a test when you cannot take the job.
Which channel should we drop first?
The one that brings views but no briefs when read against your enquiry log. Showreel views are not briefs. Drop it only after you have recorded its source tag for long enough to see, and keep the time for the channel that books.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
