Water purifier manufacturers · CRM

Keep dealers, households and service calls in one record the sales head can read.

A CRM for a purifier manufacturer is one system that holds dealers, distributors, households, enquiries and service calls, so nobody depends on a notebook or a personal phone. GullySales works on the fields, the dealer stages and the household list tied to purchase date, in a tool such as Zoho CRM or HubSpot.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For water purifier manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The dealer record lives in the area manager's head”

When an area manager moves on, the dealer history leaves too. The next person does not know which shops were promised a display unit or which scheme was disputed. A shared record keeps the relationship with the brand.

  • “Households are known only at the point of sale”

The dealer sells the unit and the household's details stay in the shop. The brand has nothing to remind about the filter change. A record with name, town, model and purchase date makes the later sale possible.

  • “Service calls sit apart from sales”

A complaint on the toll-free line is logged in one place and a lead from the website in another. Joined up, the sales head sees that a dealer with a long list of open complaints is also the one losing shelf space.

  • “Secondary sales are guesswork”

Primary orders reach the factory, but sales from dealer to household are reported late or not at all. A short form the dealer fills after each sale gives the scheme a true basis.

What we do

What we deliver for water purifier manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A record structure

Dealers, distributors, households, leads and service calls, each with the fields your team will actually fill in.

Result: A structure that matches how your team already talks about the business.

  2. Dealer stages

Stages from first contact to first order to active dealer, with the action that moves a shop from one to the next.

Result: A pipeline the district manager can view at a glance.

  3. A household list tied to purchase date

Each unit linked to its filter and membrane life, so the due date is known.

Result: A list that feeds the reminder messages.

  4. Linked service calls

Each call attached to the household and the dealer, with the status and the person responsible.

Result: A view of open calls by dealer.

  5. Role-based access

What the area manager, distributor, dealer and service coordinator may see and change.

Result: A short access rule agreed with your sales head.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Fields worth keeping

Fields a purifier maker needs on dealers, households and service calls.

Dealer, town and brands stocked
Filled by the area manager. Shows which dealers stock a rival first and where there is no cover.
Model and serial sold
Entered at the point of sale by the dealer or technician. Links a service call to the unit.
Water source at the site
Noted at installation. Explains repeat calls and shapes the next recommendation.
Service request and its status
Logged by the service desk, with a closing note from the technician. Shows open calls by dealer.
Filter due date
Set at installation. Drives the reminder and the repeat sale.

Who it is for

This is written for these water purifier manufacturers.

  • RO, UV and UF household purifier brands selling through retail dealers
  • Brands selling under a private label to kitchen appliance chains
  • Commercial and office purifier makers for canteens, schools and clinics
  • Under-sink and wall-mounted purifier makers focused on online sales
  • Hot and cold dispenser manufacturers for offices
  • Assemblers that supply units to regional brands and distributors
  • Purifier brands with a franchise or exclusive dealer model
  • Makers of domestic water softener and purifier combinations

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Dealers use paper registers and will not enter data, so a system would hold only what the head office types.
  • Your service calls run through several numbers with no owner, and a CRM would copy the confusion.

How it works

How the CRM work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We sit with the people who sell and write down how a deal moves from enquiry to payment, including where it stalls.

  2. 2

    Agree stages, fields and owners

Each stage gets a name your team already uses and a proof that the deal has left it. We agree which fields are required at which stage, and who may change what.

  3. 3

    Build on a copy

Pipeline, fields and views are built on a trial copy where the CRM offers one, or in a separate pipeline where the plan allows. Live work stays untouched.

  4. 4

Connect channels, then switch on automations

Channels are connected first. Each automation is then switched on separately, so a misfiring rule is easy to find.

  5. 5

    Test with real deals

The people who will use the CRM run open deals through it. Gaps are fixed before the whole team switches over.

  6. 6

    Switch over and trim

Once real use shows which fields stay empty and which stages nobody uses, those are cut and the handover record is updated.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which CRM should we use?
The one your team will open daily. Zoho CRM and HubSpot are both in ordinary use in India. We look at your size, your dealer count and whether you already pay for one before recommending.
Will dealers enter their own sales?
Only if it is quick. We design a short form that works on a phone, and your area manager decides whether entry is tied to the scheme. Without a reason to fill it, the record stays empty.
Why should a purifier maker record the water source?
Because it explains why one unit works and another fails in the same town. Repeat service calls cluster around hard or salty water. With the source on file, you advise the next household correctly and reduce avoidable calls.
Should dealers or the head office enter secondary sales?
The dealer enters them at billing if the form is short, and the head office checks. Head-office entry from invoices is slower and misses walk-in sales. Start with model and town, since dealers drop forms that ask for more.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
