Audit firms · Local SEO

Show up when a proprietor or trust in your city looks for a tax auditor nearby.

Local SEO for an audit firm means making the firm findable when a business owner, trustee or small company searches for an auditor in the same city or district. GullySales sets up the Google profile, the city and area wording and the review handling, and checks it against your council's advertising rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For audit firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Small clients choose an auditor they can reach”

A partnership firm or a proprietor needing a tax audit searches with a city name and wants someone whose office is near. The firm that shows an address and a person to call gets the first message.

  • “A Google profile with wrong details sends the caller elsewhere”

An old address, a landline nobody answers or a business type set to something else loses the enquirer at the first step. The profile is the first thing a searcher sees, before the website.

  • “Reviews are a sensitive matter for a professional firm”

Client confidentiality and council rules both bear on whether and how reviews are sought. A firm that asks for them carelessly risks a rule breach. Check your council's guidance first, and never offer anything in return.

  • “District and area pages only work if the work is real”

A page for each neighbouring town reads as filler when the firm has no connection there. A page for the districts where your partners attend clients, with the actual office, reads as honest and gets used.

What we do

What we deliver for audit firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and correction

Name, address, hours, phone, services and description set out accurately, with the audit types you do listed in plain words.

Result: The profile matches your signboard and your phone line.

  2. City and area page

A page for the city and the districts you serve, giving the office address, the audit types taken and how to book a meeting.

Result: A local searcher lands on a page with your address on it.

  3. Directory and listing check

A review of the listings where the firm appears, so name, address and phone read the same everywhere.

Result: Your details do not conflict across listings.

  4. Review handling note

A written note for your partners on whether and how to respond to reviews, kept inside council guidance and client confidentiality.

Result: The firm has a rule for reviews before any arrive.

  5. Call and direction tracking

Setup to record calls and requests for directions from the profile, so you can see what the listing brings.

Result: You can count local calls from the profile.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does local search matter for an audit firm?
It matters for the work that comes from nearby owners, trusts and small companies, such as tax and trust audits. For large statutory audits, referrals and sector pages carry more weight. We work on both, in proportion to your book.
Can we ask clients for Google reviews?
Check your council's current guidance and your duty of confidentiality before asking. Rules differ by body. We will not draft a request that your partners have not approved, and we never suggest rewards for reviews.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
