Audit firms · Social media

Use LinkedIn and WhatsApp to keep partners in front of CFOs, bankers and fellow CAs.

Social media marketing for an audit firm means a small set of informative posts under a partner's name, read by finance heads, lenders and other professionals. GullySales plans and drafts them, and your partners approve each one against your council's guidance before it is posted.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For audit firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The reader is a finance head scrolling LinkedIn”

CFOs and company secretaries read LinkedIn for work. A short note on an audit point, such as inventory counts, reads like a colleague's observation and sits well beside a partner's name.

  • “A post that sounds like an advertisement can breach your rules”

Claims of superiority, lists of named clients and offers all risk the firm's standing with its professional body. Plain, informative posts are safer and also read better. Check the current guidance before anything goes up.

  • “Posting from the firm page alone gets little attention”

People follow people. A partner who writes under their own name brings a face to the firm, and the firm page then shares the post. Without a named author the post is easy to scroll past.

  • “A circle of fellow CAs shares your name on”

Small practices pass audits they cannot take to firms they have seen online. A thoughtful post on scope or size of audit accepted reaches that circle, which a website alone does not.

What we do

What we deliver for audit firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Partner post calendar

A plan of subjects drawn from audits your partners actually do, such as stock audit points or trust audit paperwork, with a draft for each.

Result: Your partners see each post before it goes out.

  2. LinkedIn profile review for partners

A review of each signing partner's profile so the headline, summary and featured items state the audit types and sectors plainly.

Result: A visitor to a partner's profile learns what they sign.

  3. Firm page set-up

A page with a clear description, services and links to the audit-type pages on your site.

Result: The firm page sends readers to the right audit page.

  4. Rules checklist for posts

A short checklist of what to leave out of posts, written from your council's current guidance and kept for the team.

Result: Posts are checked against one list before approval.

  5. WhatsApp broadcast list for referrers

A consent-based list of bankers, secretaries and fellow CAs who agreed to receive your notes, with a record of who joined.

Result: You write to people who asked to hear from you.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform matters most for an audit firm?
LinkedIn, because finance heads, bankers and other professionals use it for work. WhatsApp serves existing contacts. We do not recommend broad consumer platforms unless you have a specific audience there.
Can partners post opinions on audit matters?
They can post informative notes, and the council's rules decide how far that goes. Rules differ by body and change. We draft and your partners approve, and we leave out anything that reads as a claim of superiority.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
