Business growth consultants · Search engine optimisation

Be the page an owner finds when turnover has stopped moving.

SEO for a growth consultant means writing pages that answer what a stuck owner types into Google, in the words the owner uses. GullySales works on the situation pages, the page structure and the search results that show your practice.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business growth consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Owners search the problem, not the profession”

A query like why is my business not growing or how to fix cash flow in a small company comes before any query for a consultant. The practice that has written a clear page on that problem is the one in front of the owner when the searching begins.

  • “Generic pages compete with every large firm”

A page saying you help businesses grow sits beside the pages of big consulting houses and loses. A page about a textile trader whose orders arrive by phone and whose collections lag is rare, and rare is what gets found.

  • “A page that only argues never gets asked”

An owner reading about stalled growth wants to know what a consultant would look at first. A page that names the first checks, in plain terms, gives the owner something to act on and a reason to call.

What we do

What we deliver for business growth consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map of owner searches

A list of the questions stuck owners type, grouped by situation, manufacturing, trading, retail and family firms.

Result: You can see which situation each future page is written to answer.

  2. Situation pages written for search

Each page opens with the owner's problem, names what you look at first and ends with a way to talk to you.

Result: Every page has one problem, one set of first checks and one next step.

  3. Page titles and descriptions

Titles and snippets that carry the words an owner would type and describe the page honestly.

Result: Search results show the situation in the owner's words.

  4. Internal links between related situations

Links that carry an owner from slow collections to cash-flow pages, and from dependence on the owner to delegation pages.

Result: A reader can move between related problems without going back to Google.

  5. A search enquiry report

Enquiries that began on a page, with the page and the query where it is visible.

Result: You see which page brought each enquiry.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need to write many pages?
You need a page for each situation you want to be known for, and no more. Start with the situations where you have done the best work and add others as the enquiry register shows demand.
Will SEO bring me the right owners or just visitors?
Pages written around specific problems attract owners with those problems. Whether they enquire depends on the page and on your reply, so we read the enquiries, not only the visits.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
