Company secretarial firms · Lead generation

Find the companies that need a secretary before a notice arrives.

Lead generation for a company secretarial firm means reaching promoters, finance heads and lawyers while they are choosing who keeps the board papers in order. GullySales works on the sources that bring those enquiries and on the record that shows which source produced a retainer.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For company secretarial firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Enquiries arrive after the default notice”

A founder who calls once the Registrar has written wants the cheapest fix and rarely thinks of a retainer. Leads found earlier, when a company raises money or adds a foreign director, begin from a different conversation.

  • “Three referrers carry the whole pipeline”

When the firm depends on a few chartered accountants for introductions, one change at their end stops the enquiries. A second and third source need to exist before that happens.

  • “The event that creates the need is visible”

A share allotment, a new investor, a change of directors or a first general meeting each creates secretarial work. Pages and notes written around those events meet the owner at the moment of need.

  • “Lead quality differs by company type”

A startup with an investor, a family group and a small listed company want different things from a secretary. Counting enquiries without noting the company type hides which kind is worth chasing.

What we do

What we deliver for company secretarial firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Lead source map

A list of where your present retainers came from, split into referrals, search, existing clients and the rest.

Result: You can see which source has brought the clients you keep.

  2. Trigger-event pages

One page for each event that creates secretarial work, written for the owner who is facing it.

Result: A founder searching an event finds a page that describes it plainly.

  3. Referrer notes

A short note for chartered accountants, lawyers and incorporation firms saying which companies you take and what you need to start.

Result: A referrer knows what to send you and what to keep.

  4. Enquiry form with company questions

A form that asks company type, shareholders and the work needed, so a partner can reply with a useful question.

Result: Each enquiry arrives with enough detail to answer properly.

  5. Source tag on every enquiry

A field recording where each lead came from, kept alongside the quote and the outcome.

Result: You can compare sources by retainers won, not only by enquiries received.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small practice start?
Start with the source that already works, such as a referrer you trust, and add one search page and one note for a second referrer. Add more once you can see which enquiries turn into retainers.
Can we promise leads to a partner?
No. Enquiries depend on your service, your market and the season, and GullySales cannot promise a number. We work on the pages, notes and records that make an enquiry easier to start and easier to trace.
Are there limits on how a secretary may solicit work?
Yes. Advertising rules differ by profession, so check the current guidance of your Institute and your own adviser before any page or message goes out. We keep wording factual and your partner approves each item.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
