Criminal defence lawyers · Local SEO

Make the map listing say which courts you appear in and which number is answered.

Local SEO for a criminal defence practice means appearing on the map and in local searches near the courts where you appear and the city where the family lives. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, court-complex landmarks and consistent listings, with no promise of position.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For criminal defence lawyers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The court complex is the landmark people use”

A family searches near a sessions court or a particular police station, and a driver finds the way by the court complex. A profile that names the court and gives the right pin matters more than a decorative address line.

  • “A listing with a dead phone number does harm”

If the number on the map rings out at night, the listing sends a frightened caller to the next name. Check the number that is shown, and decide who answers it in and out of court hours.

  • “Reviews are a regulatory question, not a marketing task”

Asking clients to review a criminal lawyer raises confidentiality and professional conduct questions. Do not solicit them without clearing it with your bar council, and never reply to a review in a way that reveals a client's matter.

  • “Chambers in more than one court need separate care”

An advocate who appears in a district court and the high court has two audiences and possibly two addresses. The profile should say plainly where the chamber sits and which courts it serves, rather than claiming every area.

What we do

What we deliver for criminal defence lawyers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Google Business Profile for the chamber

Accurate name, address, map pin, hours, courts served and a phone number that is answered, set up within advertising limits.

Result: The listing shows the right courts and a number you have tested.

  2. A court and police station reference page

A page naming the courts and stations you regularly appear near, written as information rather than invitation.

Result: A reader searching by court finds the chamber.

  3. Consistent listings across directories

The same name, address and phone number everywhere, with duplicates found and corrected.

Result: Search results show one version of the chamber.

  4. A review policy agreed with a partner

A written rule on whether reviews are asked for at all, how replies are worded and who approves them, after checking bar council rules.

Result: No one on staff improvises a reply to a review.

  5. A map-pin check from a real phone

Testing the route from the court complex to the chamber and the call button from the listing.

Result: A driver follows the pin to the right door and the call connects.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we collect reviews from clients?
That is a question for your bar council, because of confidentiality and conduct rules, and the answer can differ by state. We will not write a review process until you have the answer in writing.
Should the listing show our home address?
Not if the chamber works from elsewhere. Use the address where clients actually meet you, and a service area where that is allowed. Listing rules change, so check the platform's current rules.
Does the listing need to name every court?
Name the courts where you appear regularly, not every court in the state. An accurate short list is more useful to a reader and easier to keep current than a long one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
