Fundraising consultants · Digital marketing

Join search, LinkedIn, email and referrals into one path from reader to mandate.

Digital marketing for a fundraising consultant is the set of channels that carry a founder from first reading to a booked call. GullySales decides which channels earn their place for your buyers and joins them so the founder is not asked the same question twice.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For fundraising consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels work on different founders”

Search finds the founder with a specific question, LinkedIn reaches the referrers, email keeps the founder who is not ready yet. Paying equal attention to all of them spreads a small practice thin.

  • “Paid advertising suits few advisers”

Advertising to "startup founders" reaches thousands who will never raise. Check the platform's current rules on financial services advertising before paying anything. A small practice does better on pages and referrals first.

  • “The path has to end in a clear next step”

A guide that ends with no action loses the reader. Each page needs a next step matched to the reader's stage: a checklist, a paid review, or a call. One filled action per page keeps the path clear.

  • “Measurement in a small practice has to be simple”

With a handful of mandates a year, large dashboards mislead. A short record of each enquiry, its source and its outcome says more than a graph of visits.

What we do

What we deliver for fundraising consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for your actual buyers

A written choice of channels, with what each is for and what is left out, built from your enquiry history.

Result: Effort goes to the channels that have brought signed work.

  2. A path from guide to call

Each page linked to a next step, with the form and the booking route tested before launch.

Result: A reader on any page has somewhere to go.

  3. An email list for founders not ready yet

A simple list and short notes for founders who read but have not started a raise, for those who have agreed to hear from you.

Result: A founder who raises next year already knows you.

  4. A source field on every enquiry

A habit of asking and recording how each founder found you, kept in the same record as the mandate.

Result: You can see which channel earned the signed work.

  5. A short review of what to stop

A review of each channel against its enquiries, with a clear list of what to continue, change or drop.

Result: Channels that bring nothing are removed.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small advisory firm begin?
With a clear website and a LinkedIn profile, then referral outreach to incubators and CAs. These cost time rather than media spend and suit how founders choose an adviser.
Do I need paid ads?
Not necessarily. Test only after the pages and the follow-up work, and check the platform's current rules on advertising financial services. Spend what you can afford to lose while learning.
How do I know digital marketing is working?
By enquiries and signed mandates traced to their source. Visits and followers alone do not tell you. The record of each founder, from first contact to outcome, is the measure.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
