Virtual CFO services · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a founder reads when they search for help with cash and projections.

SEO for a virtual CFO practice means shaping your pages so that a founder who describes a finance worry in their own words reaches an explanation of how you handle it. GullySales works on the search terms, the page structure and the sample material that make those pages worth opening.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For virtual CFO services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The word CFO pulls the wrong results”

A founder who types the job title meets recruiters and salary guides. The search that brings a buyer is about a problem: a working capital limit that keeps being queried, a model an investor wants, a profit figure nobody trusts.

  • “Five firms use one sentence”

Pages that say strategic finance partner for growing businesses cannot be told apart. A page that names the reports a founder receives and the questions a banker asks has something the others do not.

  • “A sample report is the page that earns the link”

Practices that hold clients' figures in confidence have little to show. A cash forecast in dummy figures, clearly marked as an example, gives the search engine something specific and gives the founder something to judge.

  • “Buyers compare before they call”

The founder reads two or three practices before a call. A page for the kind of company, such as a D2C brand or a manufacturer, tells a founder you understand the stock, the returns or the bank limit that company lives with.

What we do

What we deliver for virtual CFO services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of the questions founders search

Terms drawn from the worries in your engagement records: bank queries, investor models, cash forecasts, product-wise profit.

Result: A sheet of search terms grouped by the trigger behind them.

  2. One page per kind of company

Separate pages for D2C brands, manufacturers, startups preparing a round and the other companies you serve, each naming that company's own finance problems.

Result: Each page answers a search the others do not.

  3. Sample reports as indexable pages

Cash flow and profit-by-product examples in dummy figures, published with a plain explanation of how a founder reads them.

Result: Examples a founder can open without calling you.

  4. Titles and descriptions written for the search result

Page titles and descriptions that name the service, the company type and the problem, so the result tells a founder it is the right page.

Result: A search result that reads as an answer, not a slogan.

  5. Internal links from worry to service

Links that move a reader from a question about a bank limit to the page on what you prepare for it, and on to the enquiry route.

Result: A founder can reach the enquiry step from any page.

  6. A baseline of where you appear today

The searches you already appear for and the pages that bring visitors, recorded before changes begin.

Result: A starting point to compare later readings against.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will GullySales get us to the first result?
No. Nobody can promise a ranking. We improve how clearly your pages answer a founder's search and show you the searches and visits recorded against the baseline.
Do we have to publish client examples?
No. Examples use invented figures and are marked as such. A real client is described only where that client agrees in writing, and your partner approves every page.
Which terms should we avoid?
Terms that describe the job rather than the problem, such as CFO jobs or CFO salary, bring the wrong readers. We look at the real searches for your service before choosing, and check the platform's current rules for any paid listing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
