HR consulting and outsourcing firms · Local SEO

A founder cares which state you file in, not how far away you sit.

Local SEO for an HR consultancy is being found by owners searching in the states where you actually file, and surviving the check that follows a referral. GullySales completes the profile, writes a page for each state you work in, and answers the fee question where owners ask it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For HR consulting and outsourcing firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Nobody visits you, so distance is not the test”

Payroll runs over email and a portal. What a founder checks is whether you have filed in her state and dealt with her state's inspector.

  • “The profile is where a referral gets verified”

An accountant passes your number, and the founder types your firm's name before she rings. A listing with no hours and no services undoes the introduction.

  • “A branch you do not staff is a risk on Maps”

An address nobody can reach you at puts the whole profile in question. A page for each state you file in does the same job honestly.

What we do

What we deliver for HR consulting and outsourcing firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile that names what you sell

Categories, services, the hours your desk is actually staffed and photographs of the office, rather than a listing with a phone number alone.

Result: The check after a referral finds a firm that looks open.

  2. A page for every state you file in

What you handle in that state, which registrations you have dealt with there and who at your firm runs it, with the wording read by your adviser.

Result: An owner in that state sees a firm that knows her rules.

  3. The fee question answered on the profile

The questions owners post publicly, on scope, turnaround and how charges work, answered by you rather than left to a stranger.

Result: The most common objection is handled before the call.

  4. Directory entries matched to the profile

Name, address, phone and services made identical across JustDial, IndiaMART and older listings nobody has touched in years.

Result: A search stops turning up two versions of your firm.

  5. A review ask after a filing season

A short request sent to the client contact once a cycle has passed cleanly, with a link that opens the review box on a phone.

Result: The profile fills with clients rather than candidates.

  6. Calls and direction requests reported

Profile calls, searches for your name and enquiries traced back to local search, read against the figures from before work started.

Result: You see whether the listing is producing anything.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How a founder or an HR head finds a compliance or staffing firm nearby, and what to fix first.

Employer calls against job seeker calls
A staffing category draws job seekers, while a consulting category draws employers. Pick the category and write the description to match the caller you want.
Services entered one by one
List payroll processing, PF and ESIC filing, contract staffing and background verification as separate services. A founder searches the filing he has missed, not the word consultancy.
State registrations
Say only the registrations and licences you actually hold, in the form your certificate shows. Staffing firms need particular licences in some states, so check with your own state authority.
LinkedIn page and profile
Employers check LinkedIn next to the map. Put the same office address, phone and company name on both, and use one logo.
Reviews from finance heads
A review from a client's finance or admin manager that names the filing you handled carries weight. Avoid naming staff or employees, because the reply must not reveal anything about them.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local seo work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we list offices in cities where we have clients but no staff?
No. A listing has to be somewhere a person can reach you, and a virtual address can cost you the profile altogether. Write a page for the state instead, and name who handles filings there.
Does a Maps listing bring enquiries to a firm like ours?
Some, from owners searching for payroll services in their city. Its larger job is the check after a referral, where hours, services and a few recent reviews decide whether the call is made.
Can clients' names appear in reviews of an HR firm?
A client may write his own name, but your reply should not repeat details of staff, salaries or cases. Thank him and describe the work in general terms. Never ask a client to review in return for a discount or a favour.
Should recruitment and compliance be on one profile?
Only if one office and one team runs both. Choose one primary category, list the other as services, and write the description for the buyer you want most. Use separate website pages for job seekers and for employers.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing reply time and problem-led content helps quickly, since a founder is already searching for that exact gap. Ranking for a search such as payroll outsourcing in your city takes several months.
Do we need to advertise?
Clearer content and a faster reply cost nothing in media and answer the search a founder is already making. Advertising helps for a specific service push, such as payroll compliance ahead of a filing season.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
