HR consulting and outsourcing firms · Pay per click advertising

Bid on the deadline and the notice, and leave the broad words alone.

Pay per click advertising puts an HR consultancy in front of the founder who has a filing date this month and nobody to handle it. GullySales builds a short list of campaigns around those urgent searches, writes the page each one lands on, and runs them in the hours a consultant can pick up.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For HR consulting and outsourcing firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “An emergency click is worth ten research clicks”

Someone typing the name of a notice will speak to whoever answers first. Someone reading about payroll outsourcing is comparing three firms and will take a month over it.

  • “Staffing words are fought over, compliance words are not”

Job portals have been bidding recruitment phrases up for years. The phrase a founder uses about a missed return is cheap and almost nobody is buying it.

  • “Switch the ads off when the desk is empty”

A founder who calls at four and reaches voicemail rings the next firm on the page. The campaign runs against the days and hours your consultants are actually at their desks.

  • “The HR manager is not searching at all”

Past a hundred employees the problem belongs to an HR head who already has a vendor. Reaching her means LinkedIn, a different message and a longer wait.

What we do

What we deliver for HR consulting and outsourcing firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by urgency rather than by service

One campaign for the founder with a date this week, another for the owner comparing payroll vendors, each with its own bid and its own page.

Result: The urgent search stops competing with the slow one for budget.

  2. A landing page per campaign, carrying scope and a fee note

The page names what is included, what it costs to find out and who calls back, instead of sending every click to the home page.

Result: A caller already knows what they are asking for.

  3. Call tracking on the number in the ads

A separate line used in advertising alone, with every call logged against the phrase that produced it.

Result: You can tell a compliance enquiry from a curiosity click.

  4. Negative words for employees and students

Terms belonging to staff checking their own provident fund and to students studying human resources, kept out of the account and reviewed as new terms appear.

Result: Your budget stops paying for people with nothing to buy.

  5. A LinkedIn set aimed at HR heads

A small campaign for the company sizes you serve, written about changing a vendor rather than about a deadline.

Result: Larger accounts hear from you before their contract is up.

  6. Spend and signings read together

Cost per enquiry and cost per signed retainer by campaign, set against the enquiry baseline agreed before the first ad ran.

Result: You judge the ads on retainers rather than on clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for at an HR firm, and the ones to keep out.

PF, ESI and labour law compliance help, such as PF return filing for a company
Bid. A founder with a filing or a notice has a deadline. Lead with the compliance problem, and land the click on a page that states what you handle and what you need.
Payroll outsourcing for a small company
Bid. An owner running payroll in a spreadsheet is looking for a provider. Say the number of employees you handle and the states, and ask the headcount on the form.
HR outsourcing and virtual HR for startups
Bid, narrowly. A founder who types this wants a person to run HR. Show what a retainer covers and what it does not, and ask for the headcount and the city.
Staffing, recruitment agency and manpower searches
Bid with care. These words are crowded and the buyer is comparing many firms. Bid on a narrow role or industry that you place, and keep the spend small.
HR jobs, HR course, UAN login and free format searches
Block. HR jobs, HR course, PF balance check, UAN login and free offer letter format come from job seekers, employees and students. Add them as negatives before the first day.
Where the click lands, and what to count
Send each click to a page for that problem with a form asking the headcount, the state and the issue. Count a call or a form that reached a consultant, and log the retainers signed.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

What should we be ready to spend?
Enough to hold two or three high-intent phrases for a full month. The amount is settled after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and written into the fee note next to your own media spend. A small budget split across recruitment, payroll and compliance at once buys nothing anywhere.
Is demand for this the same all year?
No. Interest climbs before the common filing dates and again when salary tax statements go out to staff, then falls away in between. The budget is weighted to those weeks instead of spread evenly.
Should we bid on our own firm name and our rivals' names?
Bid on your own firm name in a small campaign, since referrals search for it. Rival names are costly and the buyer already prefers them, so test with a small cap. Judge any test by retainers.
Can we advertise to HR managers, or only to founders?
Search reaches founders with a problem now. HR heads rarely search for an outside firm, so reach them through LinkedIn and referrals. Run the two separately and count the enquiries by who they came from.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing reply time and problem-led content helps quickly, since a founder is already searching for that exact gap. Ranking for a search such as payroll outsourcing in your city takes several months.
Do we need to advertise?
Clearer content and a faster reply cost nothing in media and answer the search a founder is already making. Advertising helps for a specific service push, such as payroll compliance ahead of a filing season.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
