Interior design firms · Digital marketing

Combine Instagram, local search and WhatsApp into one visible system.

Digital marketing for an interior design firm means running Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, local search for the enquiry, and WhatsApp for quotes and site visit scheduling. The same homeowner moves between all three in a week, so one person has to be watching all three. GullySales manages all of it and reports which channel brought which signed project.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For interior design firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Instagram builds the taste, search brings the enquiry”

A client often follows a firm's Instagram for months before searching locally and finally calling, so both stages need attention.

  • “WhatsApp handles the back and forth of a quote well”

Sharing a mood board and a quote over WhatsApp matches how many clients already prefer to communicate about a home project.

  • “Referral tracking belongs in the same system”

A client sent by an architect or a past client should be recorded the same way as a digital enquiry, so the firm knows where its best work comes from.

What we do

What we deliver for interior design firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Instagram and Pinterest portfolio organised by project type

Saved and posted work grouped by apartment, villa or retail project, matching how a client browses before searching locally.

Result: A client who has been following your Instagram recognises the same firm when they search.

  2. WhatsApp Business set up for quotes

A WhatsApp Business number configured to share mood boards, quotes and site visit scheduling in one thread.

Result: The mood board, the quote and the site visit date sit in one thread.

  3. Referral tracking alongside digital enquiries

Enquiries from architects, builders and past clients recorded in the same system as digital enquiries, not tracked separately.

Result: You see your best source of enquiries clearly, not just the digital ones.

  4. Single enquiry record across every channel

Instagram, website, WhatsApp and referral enquiries logged into one CRM record instead of scattered notebooks or chats.

Result: No enquiry is lost between the channel it arrived on and the person who should follow up.

  5. Channel report against the baseline

A report of which channel brought each enquiry and signed project, checked against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You see whether Instagram or local search brought the projects you signed.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for a studio

Start with the places a family looks before it books a design consultation.

Business Profile
Add your studio address, the areas you serve and photographs sorted by project type: 2BHK, 3BHK, villa, retail. Record each call or direction request that comes from it.
Instagram highlights by project
Group finished homes into highlights for kitchens, bedrooms and full homes, with the budget band in the caption. Ask every new enquiry whether they saw you there and note the answer.
WhatsApp Business for quotes
Set a greeting, a catalogue of project types and a label for each stage: new, site visit, quote sent, advance received. Count how many enquiries sit at each label.
Referral register
Write down who sent each project: past client, architect, builder or a modular kitchen vendor. Thank the source in person and note what they said about you to the family.
What to leave until later
Hold back on paid ads, a blog and walkthrough films of every site. Return to them when the register shows which project type and which area give you signed jobs rather than only enquiries.

Who it is for

This is written for these interior design firms.

  • Residential interior design studios
  • Turnkey design-and-build firms
  • Retail and commercial interior design firms
  • Office and workplace interior design firms
  • Boutique single-designer practices
  • Modular kitchen and furniture-focused design firms
  • Design firms working closely with architects and builders

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no one to answer messages the same day, so more channels would collect enquiries that go cold.
  • Your portfolio has no budget band marked, so clients who find you would not know whether you suit them.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small firm start?
A well-organised Instagram portfolio and a fast WhatsApp reply, since most enquiries begin with one and finish with the other.
Do we need Instagram if we already rank on Maps?
Yes, Instagram is where most clients form their taste before ever searching for a designer locally.
Should we hire a social media person or give it to an agency?
A junior in the studio can post, but the photographs and project notes must come from your designers, since only they know what was built and why. An agency can set up the structure. Check that every post names the project type.
A client says they found us everywhere. How do we know which channel to credit?
Ask what they saw first and what made them call, and record both separately. Then look at which stage the signed projects reached through each. A channel that brings visits but no advances is telling you something different from one that brings both.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
