General construction contractors · Digital marketing

Choose the few online channels where building owners actually look for a contractor.

Digital marketing for a general contractor covers the website, the map listing, search, social posts and messages that bring building owners to your door. GullySales decides which of these fit your trade first, builds them in order and reads the results against signed contracts.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For general construction contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel is tried and none is finished”

A page on every platform, a half-built website and an old listing add up to nothing. A contractor with one finished website and one complete map listing out-appears the one with ten thin profiles.

  • “Marketing spend is judged by clicks, not contracts”

A campaign can bring a flood of calls from people who only wanted a free rate. Judge it by site visits and signed work, and the answer changes, since the cheapest calls are the least useful.

  • “The site team is left out of the plan”

The people who photograph progress and meet owners on site are your best source of content and proof. A plan made in the office alone misses the material that proves you build well.

What we do

What we deliver for general construction contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel choice for your firm

We compare website, map listing, search, social and WhatsApp against your building types and pick the order to build them.

Result: A written order of work with the reason for each step.

  2. A foundation of website and listing

A clear website and a complete map listing, which the other channels point to.

Result: One site and one listing that carry your whole range.

  3. A content and project calendar

A plan for which finished jobs, guides and posts to publish, linked to the building types you want more of.

Result: A list of what to publish, tied to enquiry goals.

  4. Tracking from enquiry to contract

A record that follows each enquiry from its first touch to the result.

Result: A view of cost and result for each channel.

  5. A review rhythm

A fixed point where you and we look at what the record shows and decide what to change.

Result: A decision list after each review.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these general construction contractors.

  • Contractors who build independent houses and villas for plot owners
  • Contractors for commercial shells, shops and small offices
  • Contractors who take institutional work such as schools, hostels and trust buildings
  • Contractors working for a handful of builders and developers
  • Contractors who also do repair, extension and strengthening work
  • Contractors who sell labour contracts only, with the client supplying material
  • Contractors who take item-rate work for industries and warehouses
  • Family-run firms handing over to the next generation

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should a small contractor do first?
Build a clear website and a complete map listing. Then add project pages and a follow-up routine. Other channels wait until these two are working.
Do we need paid advertising?
Not as a starting point. Paid advertising makes sense once pages and tracking are in place, so you can see whether spend leads to site visits. We help you test small before committing.
How will we know if it works?
By signed contracts traced to their source. Clicks and followers are signals, not results. We set up the record so every contract can be traced back to where the owner first heard of you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
