MEP consultants · CRM

Keep every architect, project and proposal in one record the whole firm can read.

A CRM for an MEP consultant is a single record of the architects, developers, projects and proposals that make up your pipeline. GullySales works on setting up a simple system in a tool your firm already uses or one in common use in India, and on the habits of filling it in.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For MEP consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The pipeline lives in two partners' heads”

When a principal travels or leaves, nobody knows which proposals are open or who was promised a call. A shared record turns private memory into firm knowledge.

  • “A contact belongs to several projects”

One architect appears on several projects over the years, each with a different developer. A system that lists only companies loses this, so contacts, projects and proposals need to be linked.

  • “Fee proposals stall at the client's confirmation”

A proposal held until the client confirms the project is neither won nor lost. Without a status for this, such proposals vanish from view and are chased too early or never.

What we do

What we deliver for MEP consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A record built around projects

Each project holds the architect, developer, building type, stage, fee proposal and next step, linked to the people involved.

Result: One page shows everything about a project.

  2. Stages that match how you win work

Stages such as concept discussion, fee requested, proposal sent, held by client, appointed and lost.

Result: Each proposal sits at a stage everyone understands.

  3. A proposal register

Date sent, scope, fee basis, decision maker and the next call, for every proposal.

Result: You can list the proposals waiting on a decision.

  4. Source and loss reasons

Where each lead came from and why a proposal was lost, recorded in plain words.

Result: Patterns across losses become visible.

  5. A short training for the team

One session on what to enter and when, with a one-page guide.

Result: Engineers and principals know what is expected of them.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the CRM work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need an expensive CRM?
No. A simple tool that your team will use beats a complex one nobody opens. We start with the fields you need and choose a tool that holds them.
Who should update the CRM?
The person who spoke to the client. A coordinator can tidy the data, but entries made by someone else lose detail. Agree this at the start so that updating is part of finishing a call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
