Pre-engineered building contractors · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a factory owner finds when searching for a shed built on their plot.

SEO for a PEB contractor means appearing in search when an owner types a building, a place or a question about steel sheds, and landing them on a page that answers it. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the technical set-up that let those searches reach you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For pre-engineered building contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The searcher types the building, not the trade”

Owners search for a warehouse construction firm, a cold storage shell or a poultry shed design, not for a pre-engineered building. Pages named after the building and the use match the words the buyer actually has in mind.

  • “A page with a rate invites the wrong comparison”

Search results full of rate-per-square-foot pages teach the buyer to compare one number. A page explaining scope, span and height gives the buyer a better question to ask, and reads as the work of a firm that has built.

  • “Place names carry real weight”

A buyer in a given industrial area wants a contractor who has worked near it. A page for each district or estate you serve, with finished buildings listed, carries more than a list of towns in a footer.

  • “Technical pages bring in the consultant”

Engineers and consultants search for eave height limits, crane girder arrangements and mezzanine loading. A plain explainer written by your engineers earns their visit and their shortlist.

What we do

What we deliver for pre-engineered building contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Pages for each building type

Factory sheds, warehouses, cold storage, agricultural sheds and showrooms, each with the spans and heights you have built.

Result: Each building type has a page a searcher can land on.

  2. Pages for the districts and estates you serve

A page per area listing finished buildings nearby, written from your own project records.

Result: A buyer in a given estate sees a contractor who has worked there.

  3. A scope explainer in plain words

What is in and out of a PEB quote, written so a buyer can read a competing offer correctly.

Result: The page answers a question buyers ask before they call.

  4. Titles and headings matched to buyer wording

Every page named in the words an owner types, checked against the questions they put on the first call.

Result: The wording on the pages matches your enquiry log.

  5. A technical check of the site

Speed on a phone, crawl errors, duplicate pages and the way drawings and photographs are labelled for search.

Result: Search engines can read every page you want found.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you promise us the first page of Google?
No. Rankings are decided by the search engine, and nobody can promise one. We work on what you control: the pages, the wording and the proof that you have built what the buyer wants.
Do we need a blog?
A page that answers a question a buyer actually asks is worth writing. A string of general posts about steel is not. We choose topics from the questions in your enquiry log.
Will project photographs help search?
Yes, when they are named and described properly and tied to a building type and a place. Ask owners for permission before a project is shown by name.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
