Residential architects · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a plot owner searches for an architect from the site.

Local SEO for a residential architect decides whether your practice appears when someone nearby searches for an architect, a house designer or a home renovation specialist. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, the pages for each area you build in and the consistency of your listings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For residential architects

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search happens at the plot”

A family stands on a cleared site and types residential architect near me. The map result with finished-house photographs and a clear list of areas served gets the call. A profile with a logo and no pictures is passed over.

  • “A studio address can mislead the map”

Some practices work from a home office or a shared floor, and clients do not visit. The profile should say how you work, which areas you serve and that site visits are arranged on request, so the family does not expect a showroom.

  • “Reviews carry weight only if they name the house”

A review saying good architect tells a plot owner nothing. One that mentions a 30 by 40 house, listening to the family and handling the sanction tells the next family what to expect. Asking at handover, when the family is pleased, is when those reviews come.

What we do

What we deliver for residential architects.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

Business type, service areas, description, hours and a photo set of finished houses, entered with the owner's own details.

Result: The profile lists the areas and house types you take.

  2. Area pages for localities you serve

A short page for each locality with completed houses nearby, local sanction knowledge you hold and a way to book a site visit.

Result: Each locality you serve has a page that names it.

  3. Review request routine

A message sent at handover asking the family for a Google review that mentions the house, with consent recorded for anything published.

Result: Reviews arrive with a record of who was asked.

  4. Listing consistency check

Name, address and phone details compared across directories and corrected where they differ.

Result: One version of your details appears everywhere.

  5. Photo and post schedule for the profile

Finished-house photographs added with plot sizes in the caption.

Result: The profile carries current work, with the plot named.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these residential architects.

  • Independent architects designing individual houses on owned plots
  • Practices working on gated-community villas and farmhouses
  • Architects for apartment renovation and home redesign
  • Studios specialising in compact urban houses on 20 by 30 and 30 by 40 sites
  • Architects who take on vernacular and sustainable homes
  • Design-and-build practices that also supervise construction
  • Architects serving non-resident Indian families building at home
  • Small practices that work with a single partner and one site engineer

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do architects really need a Google profile?
If plot owners search from the site, yes. The profile is what appears beside the map, with your photographs, reviews and areas. Check your council's current rules on how an architect may present services online.
What if we work from home?
Say so. A profile can hide a home address and list service areas instead. Choose the setting that fits how clients actually meet you, and check the platform's current rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
