Residential architects · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a plot owner searches for an architect who builds houses like theirs.

SEO for a residential architect is the work of making your site the answer when someone searches for a home designer, a house plan or an architect for their plot size. GullySales works on page structure, portfolio content and the search phrases plot owners type.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For residential architects

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families search by plot size and place, not by firm”

A plot owner types 30 by 40 house design in a locality, or architect for a duplex house. A site with only a gallery and an about page has nothing to match those words. Pages named for plot dimensions, floors and area give search something to find.

  • “Renders without houses weaken a page”

A site built from concept renders reads like a brochure. A page for a finished house, with the plot, the brief, the number of floors and the way light enters, gives search engines real content and gives the family proof that the house was built.

  • “Search for house plans pulls in the wrong visitors”

Pages ranking for free floor plans bring students and do-it-yourself builders, not clients. Content aimed at someone about to hire a practice should explain design fees, sanction drawings and supervision, which a person only reads when they are choosing an architect.

What we do

What we deliver for residential architects.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search phrase map for your practice

A list of the phrases plot owners and renovation clients use, grouped by plot size, house type, locality and stage of decision.

Result: Each phrase has a page assigned to it.

  2. Completed-house pages

One page per finished house with plot size, floors, brief, materials and photographs shared with the family's written permission.

Result: Every page carries the details a searcher compares.

  3. Fee and process explainer pages

Plain pages on what the architect's fee covers, how sanction drawings work and what supervision means.

Result: Searches about fees and process land on your pages.

  4. Technical clean-up

Page titles, headings, image names, speed and mobile display, since plot owners search from a phone at the site.

Result: The site passes a plain checklist agreed at the start.

  5. Search reporting against the baseline

Positions and visits for the agreed phrases, set beside enquiries and site visits recorded before work started.

Result: The report shows which pages bring enquiries, not just visits.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these residential architects.

  • Independent architects designing individual houses on owned plots
  • Practices working on gated-community villas and farmhouses
  • Architects for apartment renovation and home redesign
  • Studios specialising in compact urban houses on 20 by 30 and 30 by 40 sites
  • Architects who take on vernacular and sustainable homes
  • Design-and-build practices that also supervise construction
  • Architects serving non-resident Indian families building at home
  • Small practices that work with a single partner and one site engineer

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will SEO put us on the first page?
No one can promise a position. We work on the pages, content and technical setup that make your site a fair candidate for the phrases you want, and report what moved against the baseline.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Only where it answers a question a client asks before hiring. A short piece on how a sanction plan works helps. A string of generic design trend posts does not.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
