Structural contractors · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a builder finds when searching for RCC frame work in their town.

SEO for a structural contractor is the work of making pages that answer what builders, factory owners and building owners type when they need a frame, steel erection or strengthening. GullySales plans the pages around your services and towns and builds them from work you can show.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For structural contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Builders search by the work, not by your name”

A newer builder types RCC contractor for apartments, or steel structure erection in a town, and reads whatever comes up. A page titled Home or About tells the search engine nothing. One page per kind of frame work, with the town named, is what gets matched.

  • “A page of photographs without a scope says little”

Slabs and columns look alike in a gallery. A builder wants to know what you cast, to which drawing, with whose equipment. A project page that names the structure type, the floors and your scope answers the builder and gives the search engine real words to read.

  • “Retrofitting searches come from a different reader”

An owner or society manager searching for a cracked building or additional floor is worried, not shopping. That reader needs a page which says an engineer's report comes first. The same words on a frame-contractor page would put them off and mislead the page.

What we do

What we deliver for structural contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page plan by service and town

A list of pages, one for each kind of work such as RCC frames, steel erection, mezzanines and strengthening, linked to the towns you cover.

Result: You can read the plan and see which search each page is meant to answer.

  2. Project pages written from finished frames

Each page names the structure type, the floors, the scope and the engineer, with photographs and the builder's agreement to show them.

Result: A builder searching a structure type finds a real project of that kind.

  3. Titles and descriptions for every page

Written in the words a builder would type, to the length a search result shows.

Result: Each page in the search result reads as a clear answer, not a company name.

  4. A strengthening page that begins with the engineer

A page explaining the order of work for old buildings, so a worried owner understands the report comes before the quotation.

Result: Owners reach your page already knowing what happens first.

  5. A site structure check

A review of how the pages link, so every service page reaches its projects and the contact route.

Result: A visitor reaches an enquiry from any page in a few taps.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

Will SEO get me to the top of a search?
No one can promise a position. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the structure that make a position possible, and shows you the searches your pages appear for as the work proceeds.
I work mostly through referrals. Does SEO matter?
A referred builder still looks you up before the advance goes in. If nothing credible appears, the referral weakens. SEO also reaches newer builders who do not yet know another contractor to ask.
Should I list steel erection and RCC on one page?
No. The buyers, the equipment and the proof differ. Separate pages let each speak to its reader and each be found for its own search.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
