Road and paving contractors · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a developer finds when he types the surface he needs laid.

SEO for a road and paving contractor means a page for each surface you lay, so that a developer, factory owner or committee searching for that surface finds your finished work. GullySales writes those pages from your site photographs and measured jobs, then traces the calls that come from them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For road and paving contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers name the surface, not the trade”

A committee types paver block laying for our campus, and a developer types bituminous road for layout. A single page headed road contractor answers neither of them.

  • “Rate searches bring the wrong visitor”

Students and estimators search for a rate per square metre in greater numbers than buyers do. A page that explains how a quotation is built keeps them reading and leaves the real buyer a number to call.

  • “Finished roads are invisible online”

Roads are photographed badly, if at all. Without a place name and a date, a page has nothing to show a buyer and nothing for a search engine to match to a locality.

What we do

What we deliver for road and paving contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each surface

Bituminous, concrete and paver block pages, each with the layers, the machinery and two finished places named on it.

Result: A buyer who types a surface lands on a page about that surface.

  2. Project pages with place and photographs

One page per job you may show, giving the locality, the area laid and dated photographs.

Result: A stranger can drive to a road you built.

  3. Pages for the estates and towns you serve

A page for each industrial area or town where you have a crew within reach, listing the jobs done nearby.

Result: A factory owner in that estate finds you before a contractor from another city.

  4. A plain page on how a road quotation is built

Layers, thickness, quantity, traffic load and distance from the plant, explained without a rate printed on it.

Result: Estimators read it and real buyers call.

  5. Search enquiries traced to the page

Calls and WhatsApp messages tagged to the page they came from, so you can see which surface pages bring orders.

Result: You know which pages are worth extending.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches a developer, a committee and a factory owner type, and the page that answers each.

Bituminous road contractor for a layout
Make a page for layout roads: the layers you lay, the machinery you own or hire, and one finished layout with its place name. Ask the developer's engineer for permission to name it.
Paver block laying for an apartment or factory campus
Show the block shapes you lay, the base under them and a campus you finished. Committees search with the word campus or society, so use their word in the heading.
Concrete road contractor for a village or ward
Describe the reinforcement, the joints and the curing you do, and state which kinds of road you build in concrete. A panchayat or ward office reads the page before it calls.
Pothole repair contractor near me
Give this its own short page and a phone number that is answered. Say which areas you reach, because a patch job three towns away is not worth the diesel.
Road marking and speed breaker contractor
A separate page for marking, kerbs and speed breakers, with photographs of a school or industrial gate. These buyers are often the same factories and campuses you pave.
Road construction rate per square metre
Do not print a figure your next job will not match. Write what moves the rate, which is sub-base thickness, mix, traffic and distance, and invite a measurement of the site.

Who it is for

This is written for these road and paving contractors.

  • Bituminous road contractors with their own hot mix plant
  • Concrete road contractors (CC and PQC)
  • Paver block and interlocking contractors
  • Layout and township internal road contractors
  • Factory, warehouse and industrial yard paving contractors
  • Municipal and department tender contractors
  • Pothole repair and road maintenance contractors
  • Road marking, kerb and speed breaker contractors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we have a separate page for each road type?
Yes. Bituminous roads, concrete roads and paver blocks are bought by different people for different reasons. One page for all three leaves each buyer reading about work he is not buying.
Do we need a blog?
Not first. Project pages and surface pages carry more weight for a contractor. Add a blog only when you have real questions from clients, such as how a yard is built for trucks, and someone who can answer them properly.
Should we make a page for every town we work in?
Only where you have done work or can send a crew without losing money on travel. A page for a town you have never served reads as empty, and buyers there notice the lack of any local job on it.
Can we copy specification text from a tender or a supplier's website?
Do not copy it. Search engines see duplicate text and buyers see a page that could belong to anyone. Write what your own crew lays and the order it is laid in, and keep the site's domain registered in your own name.
Do you help us win government tenders?
We help you find notices sooner, keep your papers ready and show your past work. We do not write bids or influence anyone. Each portal's current rules decide eligibility, and your own team or a tender consultant handles the submission.
Can we show photographs of a road we laid for a developer?
Ask first and keep the answer in writing, preferably when the job is signed. Many developers agree if the layout name is not used for anything misleading. Showing a place name and a finished surface is what makes the page believable.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
